That's what the market it at.... Not completely the truth. 

 

Basically it makes the bottle and lid 'one piece' of plastic instead of two. Therefore they only get taxed on one piece of packaging and not two. 

 

The whole it helps with recycling is true to extent but it's 100% not the reason that brands are moving over.

The lid being attached to the bottle is obviously way better than before and it's mad that anyone has pretended otherwise. Keeps your other hand free and no dropping the lid. If it's better for recycling too well then that's a slam dunk.

I absolutely hate it. 

 

I'm not a four year old. I can manage a loose bottle top without too much problem. 

 

I just twist it and rip it off.

tbf all the bottle caps littering the planet have probably come about by people acting like 4 year olds
