Can't see us winning in Cardiff. We have blown it with that home defeat, thanks to Fryatt's awful miss.

Two nil to Cardiff on Wednesday, and they will get promoted, with a Wembley win.

Hard to believe some of you are Leicester fans to be honest. Its like reading the Cardiff forums. They reckon they have got it wrapped up and some of you seem to agree with them. Lets put it into perspective. We have played 90 mins. We are 1-0 down .. and away goals dont count as 2. They managed to win the away leg so we can too. Still another WHOLE match to play. Hopefully they will switch off cause they think they have won.

Truthfully, no-one knows what can and will happen. We just gotta be there on Wed and damn well let em know we are right behind them. Anything is possible if you believe it enough!

COME ON LCFC! :D

what, because we're being realistic? i'd rather we were realistic and discussed the possibilities sensibly rather than turning into Newcastle or Leeds fans i.e. totally deluded into thinking their team is the best in the world bar no one and therefore annoying the hell out of everyone else. a lot of other fans come on here and compliment the discussions and ultimately the recognition that we arent barcelona. so i figure its always better to be realistic and i dont think you should be questioning people's loyalty simply because theyre opening up the discussion and not just coming along saying we are the best and we are bound to win. :P

I'd leave out Waghorn and Gallagher and play a front three of Dany, Steve and Lloyd. A combination of pace, power and the unexpected could rough them up a bit early on and we could nick a quick goal. Obviously never going to happen because we want the threat of Gally from set pieces and I don't think Waghorn deserves to be dropped after the season he's had and the effort he's put in, but I'd like to see it.

Spearing and Wellens both had a good games and despite being overwhelmingly disappointing yesterday, King needs to retain his place for the goal threat and mopping up ability.

Hopefully Bruno Berner didn't strain his back too badly but I'd play him even if he wasn't 100%. The penalties for leaving him out would be too severe to consider. I'd replace Solano with Morrison as an extra bit of aerial power in both boxes.

I'm hoping we don't go gung-ho from the off on Wednesday, but the slightest sense of anxiety on their part should be capitalized on immediately. As soon as they look nervy just throw everything at them.

Just going to have to hope for the best night of supporting Leicester in my life.

You can be realistic and positive. They aren't mutually exclusive. There are tools on here that were suggesting a 3-0 drubbing in our favour on Sunday that are now predicting a 3-0 thrashing in theirs on Wednesday night.

It is a fact that they finished level on points with us after 46 games and so they cannot claim to be much better than us with any justification. It is also a fact that several teams tht finished below us this season went to their gaff and won.

Discussion realistic enough or should I take off my blue-tinted specs?

We can win this, I'm sure we'll be positive from the outset and we can nick an early goal.

If we don't make it then it's no failure. Very few outside the club expected us to be in the top six so in a respect we've already achieved. I just hope we give it a real go and win or lose having given our best, which I'm positive will be the case.

**** me, just phoned up the ticket office and managed to get a ticket for Wednesday. Had completely written off any hope of going until reading some of the threads on here.

Leave work a bit early on Wednesday, train to Cardiff, check in to a Travelodge, watch Leicester book their place at Wembley, bit of sleep then back to London on the 05:15am train on Thursday morning to start work normal time!

Excited.

I hope we just give it our all and the players show passion, belief and just die for the club basically. It is what we all want to see. Voted for 'crash out in 90minutes though'.

You're out on the piss with me after the game pal, i'm doing exactly what you're doing. Hahahahaaa. Don't fancy hearing the tannoy for Paddington Station come 7.30am on Thursday mind you.

I have booked a travel lodge at Cardiff Wharf for the weds night.. where is good to drink at night that will be lively with women where im not going to get filled in? Or somewhere that is friendly to the english (my mate has a st georges tattooed to his neck)

It's simples really. At our best, we are capable of beating Cardiff at their place, without a doubt. If we can't produce our best on Wednesday night, frankly we don't deserve to go up.

Although we are one behind, it is still in our hands. If we play at our best, we will win.

Remember Leicester have to do everything the hardest way possible, i think this will go to penalties.

Judging by cardiffs performance in the last 10 minits on sunday when we actually started attacking, i'd say theirs a real good chance of us getting something out of this if we go for goal from the off, and field a team capable of keeping hold of the long balls instead of Waggy on his own up front.

N'Guessan and Vaughan to start please :scarf:

N'Guessan should definitely start in place of the woeful Gallagher, Fryatt, Kermo and Oakley will also be pushing for a starting berth, Waghorn, King and Dyer were all poor today.

Solano though was absolutely awesome, stunning pass which lead to Fryatts golden chance, blocking the ball with his head when lieing on the floor, sliding to block a Cardiff cross in the box, tricky situation solved with a quality header back to Weale which was a lot harder than it looked, he's so cool, he's the iceman.

Vaughan must have been injured or unfit because he should have been at least on the bench, and the same with Brown.

N'Guessan has flashes of good things, but too inconsistent - Gallagher is not Mr Consistency himself, but has that bit extra experience we will probably need and is much more likely to turn the game with a free kick or bit of magic.

As for the others pushing for a chance, Kermogant may think he has a shout on the basis of the last couple of games but in reality I am pretty sure Nige will go tried and tested for this most important single game of our season so far. Fryatt looked way off the pace when he came on and would be far too risky to start. Oakley has been generally crap all season and didn't play at all on Saturday after returning from injury. I cannot see either of the two Matts making the starting XI.

Vaughan I would agree with, Brown I am not too fussed - I don't think Bruce did anything wrong and Hobbs is untouchable at the moment.

Your points about Solano made me laugh - I don't think "awesome" was in my list of adjectives for his performance. I was mostly quite worried when he got the ball and his distribution was pretty poor. The header on the floor was good, but I would have felt better with Morrison in the defence personally.

Absolutely- and it is Pearson and his team's job to get them up for although why you would need to be inspired for a wembley date is a mystery. Of course we can do them but not if we approach the game in such a diffident and lack lustre manner as the first half yesterday

Not many outsiders will give us a chance for this game but i really think the pressure could get to them infront of their own fans.

As long as all the players realise the importance of the game and are up for it.

Some key players were abit below par on Sun(not slagging em off) BUT hope they have something in the tank for Wed....could be a long night for players and fans!!!

I'm the only person to vote for us beaten on pens thus far.

Before the home leg I was sure we needed to beat them by a few at the Walkers to stand a chance. Now looking at the game in Cardiff from this 1 nil down point of view I fancy us to do 'em. The pressure on them is massive. I sensed the whole Walkers Stadium was very nervous Sunday and think that Cardiff's Stadium will be the same, their lead making it worse.

I think we'll win 1-0 maybe 2-1. But the effort from the boys to do it is maybe going to to tell towards the end of the game. I think we'll go out late, very late.

Fook, I hope I'm wrong so, so much!! :fc:

Do 'em City!! :please:

Bit pissed off that some have manged to get thier tickets for wednesday over the phone!!!! I'm a member but was told that I could only get them if I went to the ticket office personally!!! Bit hard seeing as I live in Cardiff. Depsite attending 15 home and 11 away games I still have to go to the Walkers to pick up a ticket? Fair play to those who have got tickets tho. Make as much noise as you can, sing your hearts out and lets hope for a memorable night in the Capital.

COME ON CITY!!!

i'm thinking 3D at the pub for this one - better not go to ET & Penalties - i've got to be up by half 6 on thursday morning

edit: feck! the pubs are only showing blackpool v forest in 3D - staying at home to watch then.

Typical Leicester supporters always looking at things negatively.

This tie is in the bag. Being 1 down means we come into the game with an attacking mindset. that's how we play best. If we'd had a 1 goal lead we'd have tried to just hang on and filled the team with defence and 1 attacker.

Wembley and Forest - here we come.

Just watched BBC Wales Today... and it seems we have absolutely no chance whatsoever if we are to believe the Cardiff fans who watched in a pub yesterday.

Their arrogance was quite startling, so I'm well up for this now.

Fvck me haven't even thought about penalties up until now. Jeeeez what an ending that would be considering it looks like I'm right next to the home end. Seat 1, Aisle 119. Anyone who wants to join me its 4 to a seat.

The second Howard got sent off against Watford I had a strange feeling that he would redeem himself in the play offs. Hope I'm proved right. We do need to score first though or it will be the proverbial mountain to climb. Good luck lads!

It'll be a case of 3rd time lucky at the Cardiff City Stadium. 3-0 win, Howard hat-trick to make Maddog eat his own shit. :bounce:

That may reduce me to tears.

The Howard hat-trick, that is.
