ScouseFox Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Madrid stunned at home to Gijon. Jose loses that incredible 5 year or whatever it was record. Great result. Edit - 9 years apparently, Mourinho's first home league loss since February 02.
MC Prussian Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Unless Dortmund are able to cock it up royally and give up a 14-point cushion with only 6 games to go, they've practically won the Bundesliga. Beat Hanover 4-1 today.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 Well done Dortmund now play Langerak for the last 6 games
Bugg Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 Well done Dortmund now play Langerak for the last 6 games Is it me or does Langerak look like a 12 year old
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 3 April 2011 Posted 3 April 2011 Is it me or does Langerak look like a 12 year old Yeah his got a bit of a baby face but when you can make saves like this it doesn't matter If people haven't realised he is easily my fav player
MC Prussian Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Gayern have sacked Louis van Gaal with immediate effect.
ScouseFox Posted 20 April 2011 Posted 20 April 2011 I'd love to know how many times Messi gets fouled per game. Seems like he's fouled every time he has the ball.
AjcW Posted 20 April 2011 Posted 20 April 2011 As much as it pains me to say it, Mourinho is a genius, he is the only person who has any sort of a plan for Barcelona, and tonight, credit to madrid(CRINGE) as they did actually attack, and sadly deserved the win.
lcfc_jme Posted 20 April 2011 Posted 20 April 2011 The most amazing thing about Real Madrid is that Ronaldo is not the biggest cvnt amongst their playing staff. Marcelo takes that award. By an absolute mile.
Kenners Posted 20 April 2011 Posted 20 April 2011 Dont know if anyone has seen this. Apparently he was holding back tears. Could be the end to our goalkeeping problems. In all seriousness I think United have got a good shout of getting him, maybe Arse if they want to splash the cash. This of course only if he wants to leave Germany.
samlcfc Posted 21 April 2011 Posted 21 April 2011 They didn't have it long. My link bet he feels grim. I hope he got slapped up
Cat Burger Posted 21 April 2011 Posted 21 April 2011 When he disappears from view do you think he runs downstairs to get it or hides in shame?

Sounds like Bayern are pretty determined to get him. Also, they sacked Magath? Didn't hear about that at the time.

MC Prussian Posted 23 April 2011 Posted 23 April 2011 Dortmund not confirmed Bundesliga champs yet. Lost to Moenchengladbach yesterday and Leverkusen are closing the gap. Nice to see Gayern drop back to fourth place.
Frost Posted 30 April 2011 Posted 30 April 2011 Congratulations to Borussia Dortmund who just won the Bundesliga after beating Nurnberg 2-0. Leverkusen couldn't afford to lose really and they did, at Koln. Klopp has done an immense job, and if they can keep the core of the squad; Subotic, Hummels and Sahin etc, Dortmund will be good to watch in the CL next season and may surprise a few. Also, it obviously depends if they can bring in a couple of good quality players as well, should be interesting though, that's for sure.

This is essentially what I would've posted had it not been here. Major congratulations to Dortmund, fully deserved the title this season and were good value again today. The wall was unbelievably noisy as you'd expect and it really was party time as the Koln goals were announced. I heard a statistic today which said that Hoffenheim have dropped 29 points from winning positions this season, and had they not done so, they'd be 3 points behind runaway champions Dortmund with 2 games to play. Complete madness. Mainz have all but secured a Europa League spot for next season as well, winning 3-0 against relegation-threatened Frankfurt this afternoon. A single point from their remaining 2 fixtures should do it. Tremendous effort. Gladbach still fighting to avoid relegation as well! Kept their hopes alive by winning away at a Hannover side guaranteed European football next season.
lcfc_jme Posted 30 April 2011 Posted 30 April 2011 Real Madrid 2 - 3 Zaragoza. It's raining defeats at home for Madrid lately.

Good to see they got a bit of form back towards the end. Not pleased that Hannover lost as it now looks like Bayern will get third spot (they're currently leading Schalke 3-1). Looks very tense though at the bottom. How Wolfsburg even find themselves in such a mess is quite spectacular. On a different note, Real have just lost 2-3 at home (again) to Zaragoza. Unbeaten at home in the league for nine years, Mr Mourinho, and suddenly it happens twice in a matter of weeks.
Finnegan Posted 30 April 2011 Posted 30 April 2011 How well broadcast is the Bundesliga in Denmark, Shen? Comparable to the Prem?
