You follow my every move on here but you seem to miss my point on a more or less regular basis.

I really, really don't.

It's just hard to miss you sometimes when you're always grumbling about something*.

And what "point?" You said you disliked Schalke and we know you dislike Bayern. That's not a point it's a statement of preference, there's nothing there to miss.

I appreciate the irony.

Just admit that you're my personal FT stalker. lol

Btw, how's the Welsh Football League coming along?

Er, pretty well given the relative interest and investment I suppose. How is the, er, Swiss League?

:dunno: Is there a point here?

Just admit that you're my personal FT stalker.

Erm, no? I doubt you have a personal stalker on Foxes Talk. Predominantly because you're incredibly boring and mostly entirely humourless.

In fact it's for that reason that, the opposite of being your personal stalker, I actually scroll by most of your posts without reading them.

If you want a personal stalker, make a habit of occasionally mocking someone like Tommy G or Father Ted - they will literally hold a grudge for years with very, very little continued provocation.

The Axpo Super League, limited to ten teams, is hardly setting the world on fire - beyond the high-profile clubs like Basle, FC Zurich and Young Boys Berne, there's a massive gap in finances when you look further down the table.

The once renowned Grasshoppers, now without the Hardturm stadium, are a shadow of their former self, struggling for money, struggling to keep local talent at bay. The pride of the Zurich's uptown richesse has taken a massive blow also due to the fact that they're to share grounds with bitter city rivals FCZ.

This year's surprise package is FC Lucerne, which are still clinging on to the top spot, edging out FC Basle on goal difference.

At the very bottom of the standings, you'll find former Swiss Champions St. Gallen, who - after building a new, fancy arena a few years back, were close to folding with debts in the region of roughly £3m.

In the meantime, banks and private investors have now bailed the club out of its misery and promised investments of up to £9m.

Other than that, second division Lausanne Sport held the minnows flag up high in this year's Europa League campaign, but will probably finish their group in last place (unless they can beat Palermo at home convincingly).

In terms of UEFA coefficient points, we haven't been doing too badly with three clubs participating in European competitions this year.

Could be edging out Scotland for two automatic Champions League qualification berths if the roll continues.

Mario Gomez had an absolute horror show in that Schalke game. Could easily have had 4 on another day.

Edit: Saying that, Neuer had a great game. One of them days, I guess. Bayern would've won a game like that 5 or 6 nil 9 times out of 10.

Rafael Benítez's hopes of staying at Internazionale into 2011 look increasingly remote after the team's owner, Massimo Moratti, suggested for the first time that even winning the Club World Cup might not be enough to save the manager's job.

Last season's treble winners have won just two of their last nine games in all competitions, but despite such poor form Moratti had said as recently as last week that he would rate the season so far as a 10/10 if they triumphed in Abu Dhabi. Successive defeats to Lazio in Serie A and Werder Bremen in the Champions League since then seem to have changed the owner's tune.

"I feel betrayed," said Moratti when asked about the defeat to Bremen. He had warned Benítez beforehand that he expected Inter to take the game seriously despite the fact they had already qualified for the knockout rounds, saying that a good performance was "obligatory" and that the team must not embarrass itself. To lose 3-0, then, was a heavy blow, especially with the manager fielding a below full-strength team.

"Now there are no alibis, the Club World Cup must be won," continued Moratti. Asked specifically about whether Benítez's position was at risk, he replied: "I don't want to create problems: neither before nor during the tournament itself." And after the tournament? "Afterwards we will see."

Inter fielded a number of inexperienced players against Bremen, including the 18-year-old Cristiano Biraghi and the 19-year-old Obiora Nwankwo, making their first-ever starts for the club. Benítez defended the decision to field such players, saying it was important to avoid any further injuries – Diego Milito, Wesley Sneijder, Júlio César, Maicon and Dejan Stankovic were among those unavailable on Wednesday – before the Club World Cup.

But while Inter have suffered 42 separate injuries already this season – the highest number in Serie A – Moratti is known to feel that Benítez is at least partly to blame, having changed the team's training methods significantly since replacing José Mourinho. He has also criticised the manager for not producing a team with sufficient "rage" to grind out results.

With two rounds of Serie A fixtures set to be completed while Inter are away in Abu Dhabi, the Nerazzurri could find themselves as many as 16 points off the lead in Serie A when they return. "Benítez needs to show character," added Moratti. At this stage even that might not be enough.

hope rafa keeps his job - only because the inter milan fan in my chemistry class is so very irritating - going on about inter and saying leicester are nobodies, they haven't got any players anyones ever heard of (seems a bit retarded thing to say given he claims to have watched the world cups and euros and what not - so you've done all that but not heard of darius? Bullshit) and it's been quite fun being able to rub it in his face for most of the year.

Barca won 5-0 and were fucking incredible.

900 passes attempted. Xavi hit 120+ passes in 67 minutes. Messi bagged another 2. Unstoppable. Their 3rd goal involved 21 pases and about 4 one-twos between Messi and Alves.

Statto time!

89 – Cristiano Ronaldo had 89 more shots (275-186) than Messi in Liga BBVA in 2010, but scored six fewer goals.

Also, one I saw earlier; in this 2010/2011 season, R.Madrid and Barca have only scored 2 goals from corners/indirect free-kicks between them.

Doesn't make our scoring-from-corners record too bad. Nah, I know it's shit.

Madrid now 7 up, Ronaldo and Benzema both have hat tricks. It's not a full strength Lavente side, but some top finishing all the same.

Finished 8

Dortmund won 3-1 at Bayer Leverkusen in their first game after the Bundesliga's winter break. Three goals in six minutes, one from Goetze and a brace from Grosskreutz.

I've followed them for a few years now (and been to the Westfalenstadion), but the team they've got at the minute is unreal. So good on the counter attack, and so much talent. Relatively young on the whole, too. Fingers crossed they can keep the same core for a good while yet, especially after what the club's been through over the past eight or so years. Can't see it happening though, the likes of Hummels, Subotic, Barrios, Goetze, Sahin, Kagawa, Grosskreutz etc, are almost certain to move to move on to play for one of Europe's 'big boys.' They're far too gifted not to.

Agreed, although they were aided yesterday by some dreadful, dreadful defending by Leverkusen. Smart finishes for the goals though, KG's second especially. It's like I said to C-Man, it's amazing how well they played yesterday considering Kagawa and Barrios were out of the side and account for 25 goals between them, insane stuff. They'll definitely be sticking around next season I'd imagine, because it looks for all intents and purposes as though they're going to get a crack at the CL and defending a league title (hopefully this won't jinx them, though), but who knows after that..

VfL Bochum won again s'afternoon in the 2. Bundesliga, beating 1860 Munich 3-1 away. Think that's their 5th straight win as well, brilliant form and sees them climb to within 2 points of automatic promotion from being mid-table tripe - though the top 2 have a game in hand. Lovely stuff. <3

I watched the first half but it wasn't a good advert for german football although nothing happened it looked like leverkusen possesed more of a threat.
