Corky Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 august looked a hard month soon as the fixtures came out.. added to new manager, new style of play, new players things are going to take time.. i just hope that time is something the manager gets. (i wouldnt even worry about promotion this season but get the team built, get us playing good football, and build on it and destroy the league next season.. ) September looks pretty hard as well.
wurmer Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Phone in....... What's happened with Gradel, he's been left out again ? We need some bite up top, why not get Trevor Benjamin back ! I've been watching for near on 50 years and this lot are the worst team I've seen Can I just say that the food on offer just isn't good enough Come on Mr Mandaric stop dilly dallying and sack this bloke Bring back Taggart and Dickov as a dream team. etc etc etc Don't think I can bring myself to listen on Monday. You forgot "Sack Sousa and bring in Steve Walsh + Tony Cottee dream.."
Bluefoxtim Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 September looks pretty hard as well. Every month looks pretty hard!

darko2k7 Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 ppl saying NP's system was better do my head in it was only last week Hull got battered 4-0 Im very down atm but have got a glimmer of hope that next week we will bring in some big signings that will get the side going
Mee Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Just did not look like we turned up. DJ should of put that away first half, but it wasn't to be. Hopefully bring some players in, but then they have to bond. I bet we are just doing this, so later on in the season we can say we turned the table on it's head
Matt Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Right can only comment about the game from what I heard in commentry, but that sounded pathetic. Very poor. Back to leaking goals, poor goal(s) by the sounds. After picking many postitives out of the Middlesborough i'm struggling tonight and feeling some disappointment that i've not felt for a 2 years. I don't like it and hope it takes a turn for the better soon.
the new guy Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 heskey would just be a slightly better howard we need a player were we can say he is our best player he is the star this is what we lack
samjohnson Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 10 million... A shite defence... Strikers that cant score... I wonder...
Trav Le Bleu Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 august looked a hard month soon as the fixtures came out.. added to new manager, new style of play, new players things are going to take time.. i just hope that time is something the manager gets. (i wouldnt even worry about promotion this season but get the team built, get us playing good football, and build on it and destroy the league next season.. ) Are you SURE you're a Leicester fan? You'd never get on the phone-in with that level of optomism!
Leicfox Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Sousa translation = We were shit, i know that, but stick with us, get behind us, as when the results come they won't go away. Were nearly there.
Bert Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 The first goal was a massive fluke, and that was the main setback. No excuse for the performance though. Howard was awful, king was just as bad. N'guessan was dreadful and couldn't cross a road. Hobbs and wellens can only come out of the game with credit. Stop playing dj out wide. It doesn't work.
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 I can't understand why anyone can moan about this today. Who could have surely expected us to have won today? Not a chance. Reading we will win and we go from there.
Filberts lovechild Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 We just re-build the club, we instill a manager that brings about winning habit within the side. We're 2 games from getting to the Premiership and lose it on a penalty shoot out and mandaric spunks it all away in getting rid of Pearson. Seriously annoys me! Yes give Sousa time blah blah, yes I will. But if we still had Pearson there is no way we would be bottom of the league!!!
Webbo Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 This manager is starting to worry me. Chasing the game and we swap right back for right back. Apart from his miss Dj and Howard never got a mention. Are any of the players he's bought better than what we already had?
Number 6 Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Gutted. We have had a tough start though, we musn't forget that. A win next week and I'll feel a lot happier.
NorthernFox Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 I'm an eternal optimist and after watching the game against Boro I was quite pleased with some lovely neat football being played but today we didn't sound like we could string two passes together. Amazing what a week can do.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 3 games gone 1 point on the board, 2 goals scored and 6 conceded. So what has happened from the team that had one of the tightest defences last season? Morrison dropped after 1 poor performance, Berner his solid self but he is getting older every season. Hobbs after a shaky start seems to back to his normal self and Neilson showing what he can do with his assured performances. Moreno isn't a Centre back and should be played in midfield as it seems midfield is where we are losing out. Oakley well where to start since the day he was picked for the first game people have been getting on his back, but rightly so or not? He may well be past it at the tender age of 33, with over 100 appearances under his belt for Leicester what has he bought to the team. Leadership? Stability in the middle? No neither. With the future in Andy King it looks like its time for him to step up and be a stronger link in the middle with him disappearing a lot of the time. Wellens with his Rotwiller approach every game, but his fancy flicks are over exuberant and not needed at times. With the midfield getting over loaded it seems a new midfielder is needed. With Llyod Dyer excelling in the first 2 games of the season, could everything good be going through him along with Dj? N'guessen is another problem though, when he arrived many thought he could be the Right sided midfield player we needed but it seems to of been a different matter, patchy. With a great start to his City career it has gone downhill since, in and out of the team and never nailing down his spot. Injury wrecked havoc with Gallagher's pre-season but should he be playing over D'NG. Yes in my opinion he is the best technical player we have and can change a game in seconds. 2 goals scored, only 1 by the strikers is it time to drop Howard and bring in a new sort of attacking option, yes he almost got us a point against Palace when everything said we should have lost but since what has he done? Not a lot, keeping Fryatt out of the team who after his 2 goals must be on a high, evrything points towards Campbell and Fryatt up font together, but would it work. Nothing in the air, but very good technical skill could be the answer. Crncic may be a step into the unkown but we will never know until he comes and plays a game. But how can we change?
ibbosuk Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 I know its very early but I must admit I am worried, We are going backwards fast at the this time. I can see lots of problems, things need to change quickly.
Madrid_Fox Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Listening to the phone in Bruno Berner should be captain of this club.
Matt Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Bottom of the league, Who gives a fuck? We're the Leicester Boys and we're going up!
lavrentis Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 We lost 3-0 but who cares? At least we got a Burnley picture special.
OzFox Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 Listening to the phone in Bruno Berner should be captain of this club. He sounds like Roger Federer
Madrid_Fox Posted 21 August 2010 Posted 21 August 2010 He sounds like Roger Federer Don't be stupid. Federer is good at getting to the line!
