MPH Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 im a saddo for being bothered , but it just angers me someone would say all the stuff that he said and then hardly throw a punch. He was just embarrinsngly bad. i feel sorry for the people who paid so much to be there for that, the PPV folks... it just annoys me. Even i felt cheated and i watched it free online!!!
Samilktray Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Harrison knew he couldn't start swinging whenever he pleased because the fight wouldn't of lasted past the 1st let alone the 3rd. So I'm not at all surprised he was defensive, nor am I angry. Hayes almost as embarrassing as Harrison, god knows why he took this fight but won't fight 1 of the klitschko's or at least somebody who would give him a challenge. Heavyweight boxing is poor these days.

Heavyweight boxing is poor these days. he took it because it was a very good payday for him. the only other fights out there that would get him more would of been one of the klitchkos. Its now been revealed that he will be retiring in a year so he just wants a juicy bank balance before that.
MC Prussian Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 A disgrace for the boxing sport, really. Harrison should've admitted straightaway that he was not up for this battle. What a bitter pill to swallow for all the people who went to Manchester to see a proper fight, and the ones with bets on Harrison will be even more disgusted. Also, it's a hefty defeat for the sports media who are accomplices to advertising this actual non-event for weeks, getting as far as believing their own hype. Just look at how angry some of those sports commentators were after Round Three.
Matt Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Well that was every bit as poor as I imagined. I said right from the moment I heard the fight annouced I reckon Haye will have won inside 3 rounds, Why they fuck didn't I lump on it?!
richardsfoxes Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Like the bloke said on Box office, Harrisons been a salesman ever since this fight came in conclusions, trying to make as much money as possible and unfortnately he must of knew he would be no match for haye. What next for Haye? Who knows this is the 2nd time he's said he wants to fight the klitchows, tbh it will happen its just a matter of when, personally i think he'll fight chaluev next, then fight one of the klitchows, i cant see him fighting both of the brothers though. Chagaev*

FoxyPV Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Seemed like a fix especially given the way Haye spoke at length to Harrison afterwards. One more round and my bet would have been up!
Matt Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 I couldn't really hear properly but didn't Haye 'put alot of money' on round 3? I know Haye has still got to do it, but if he's betting on something he is involved in and can influence then sounds a suspect, but as I said couldn't really hear it and had a few drinks so might have said something totally different. Anyway just hear on the radio people have been complaining saying it wasn't value for money, and Harrison shouldn't have even got in the ring, well hang on, what did people really expect? A couple of my mates we almost wanking over the thoughts of this fight and I kept saying to them what is to get excited about really? It was always going to be poor. Time is ticking Haye, I like him, but until he fights either of the Klitchko's he's never going to get full respect, He has the attitude and thinks he's the best in the world which I quite like and find funny, but its time for him to prove he's best in the world by fighting either of the Klitchko's - And he will lose.
ScouseFox Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 Boring two and a half rounds, Harrison proved to everyone that he's nothing but a joker, and we're still nowhere nearer to finding out if Haye can take a punch. Wasted £15 really, meh.
Mack Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 I believed him. I believed he was going to give it a go, one last chance to achieve his dream at 39 years of age. I never thought for a minute he would win, but I did think he would at least have a go and gain a little respect from the British public back by having the guts to give it a shot. He would have gone up in my estimations no end had he given himself a punchers chance, if only for 2-3 rounds. But no, he stood there like the negative clueless useless pro he has always been, same old fraudley audrey two bob waste of space that has let himself down time and time again when it has mattered. Dont ever step into a ring again, you are a joke, and while I am at it CAN I HAVE MY fooking 15 QUID BACK PLEASE YOU LYING TWO BOB willy puller!
BoneDog Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 I believed him aswell and that's the reason I started really looking forward to the fight. It was so disappointing after the build up but Haye was as much to blame for how boring the fight was I think. I can't believe Haye is retiring in October. He hasn't long arrived on the Heavyweight scene and to retire so soon and young is a bit of a let down for fans really. I know he's got other jobs in mind but it might have been good for him to stick around in boxing for another few years. We don't need any more shit Hollywood action films thankyou, there's plenty doing the rounds already with the odd gem dropped in! Is Haye having two more fights or just one in October?

His trainer was interviewed on SSN this morning and said they hope for one fight before summer, and one after summer when asked about the Klitschko brothers.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 He looks unphased by the Kiltchiko's, he's just a greedy git who wants a 50% cut of the pay. I will be suprised if it doesn't happen. I don't think anyone would really want the two defining moments of your career to be knocking out a giant with no actual talent and a 3rd round TKO over Fraduley Harrison.
Raj Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 It says something about Hweight scene that people would pay money to watch a hasbeen Olympic Chump(he's not called Ordinary Harrison for nothing!) Versus a pumped up Cruiserweight (albeit not too bad at the moment cos theres no one else apart from the K Bros in the Shitty Hweight Division!) * before any clever dick says tha tHolyfield was a Cruiserweight too,yes he was,but he went on to fight and beat most of the people in his Division including Tyson etc...)
Dr The Singh Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 His trainer was interviewed on SSN this morning and said they hope for one fight before summer, and one after summer when asked about the Klitschko brothers. I must admit, Haye has maximised his career, win lose or draw vs Klitscko's, he will retire a moderately successful, very rich man!!!!
Kent Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Me and quite a few mates sat there to watch it. Needless to say and I'm sure it's been said 100 times already in here, it was wank. So we went up town instead.

Is Haye having two more fights or just one in October? he may well be retiring, but it could just be a ploy to get the klitchkos to sign on the dotted line before he retires... they have offered him terms before but he wants a 50% cut so he might be trying to force their hand.... there might be a conspiracy in there somewhere!

It's old news. He's been saying it since he fought Valuev, although I thought he said it was more for health reasons than anything else and the fact his mrs doesn't like him boxing. Launching a film career is news to me but seems to be the route he wants to go down.
