Top of the league and they resort to some of the most diabolical time wasting I've seen since they came here under Holloway and Paul Furlong took the piss out of us. Not saying that it would've changed the game (we could've played all night and not scored) but it arrested any momentum we we trying to build and was quite embarrassing to watch at times.

Very annoyed at some of the decisions PS made today.

1. Bringing in Fryatt for Howard. I do believe that this is a move which may be beneficial in the future, but not yet. Whilst were getting to grips with the style of play, Howard is needed in order to provide an option. This isn't an excuse for hoofing but he's infinitely better than Fryatt and indeed Waghorn if you're that way inclined, at helping relieve pressure and allowing us to mix it up a bit.

2. Switching Lloyd and Waghorn. Absolutely ridiculous decision really. Lloyd was getting some, if not much, joy against Kyle Walker whilst Waghorn was toiling but doing okay against Connolly. When they swapped, they became so ineffective it was painful.

3. Replacing Lloyd with Gally. I don't mind Gallagher, I think he's decent. But what the fvck was PS doing putting him on the left wing and replacing our only actual wing man when we badly needed some width? Yes Dyer was having a quiet half but just switch him to the other side again FFS.

4. Oakley replaced instead of Wellens? Come off it. Oakley was decent today and Wellens was absolute horseshit.

5. Not just today.... Carl Ikeme. He's worse than Logan in every department. Has he actually made a save yet because I can only remember him being shit at kicking and picking the ball out of the net 4 times? Also, on Tuesday he was giving it to Oakley on many occassions. None of that today. More aimless hoofing towards no hopers in Waghorn and Fryatt. Good work.

On a more positive note... The Fosse Boys are an absolute credit to the club. Kept it going right till the end and I loved 'every little thing'. Superb stuff lads

No idea why we were playing hoofball with Fryatt up front.

No idea why Dyer and Waghorn switched wings, especially after Dyer skinned Walker in the first 5 minutes.

No ideas in attack, in stark contrast to Tuesday.

Neilson reverted to type, Wellens was abysmal and Waghorn not much better. The sooner Ikeme goes back the better as well.

Seen enough now to know Sousa is not up to getting the most out of this squad.

The jokers telling Sinclair before the game we would win 3-1 / 4-1 have obviously not seen a single game this season.

We laboured against a severely depleted Cardiff side in the week, back to normal service today, defensive mistakes by individual players and tactical mistakes by Sousa in attack.

Time to move on Paulo.

QPRs fans are actually noisy on the internet. Shame I've heard louder Papal gatherings, else they'd have quite a respectable club going on down there in West London.

Their first goal was glorious.

Not surprised we got undone a bit today. QPR came with a game plan: they closed us down much more effectively than either Cov or Cardiff were able to do, they played long-ball counter-attacking football, and were quite willing to fall over or get in the ref's face if they thought it would help. In other words, a typical 'professional' performance from a Colin-managed team.

It sickens me that a team like that are top of the league, and that a ref who has crumbled completely in the face of a little gamesmanship will just trot out at another game next week with no thought for the way he spoiled a potentially enjoyable afternoon.

In future when people need a definition for "adding insult to injury" they'll show a little video of that arsehole sending Howard off the pitch to get treatment for the nosebleed which had just started 'spontaneously' and had nothing to do with anyone's elbow.

We weren't able to cope with QPR's more aggressive style, and fell back into bad habits, and that's something that needs work. But right now I'm just depressed: Sousa's experiment in making an average championship side play attractive football is in danger, because too many "fans" would rather watch us win 1-0 playing hoofball, than see us lose playing football.

If we'd been given the penalty, the game would have been very different at 1-1. But ifs and maybes don't get you promoted.

well it was another frustrating one in my view, we played some good football at times, but we lack that cutting edge/spark/or luck we need just to get us going in the right direction.

Altho, today has to be one of the worse matches i've been to for time wasting and such, but then again what can I say about a Warnock team.

Hopefully we can pick up this coming week when we play Pompey.

Wellens was totally fooking shit, had an absolute nightmare.

Neilsen had a dodgy opening 10 minutes and confidence was down for the rest of the game.

Waghorn was shit and had a bad game.

Fryatt did nothing, except miss the most simple short pass to Andy King which would have got us a goal. His mind is as slow as his feet.

Gallagher is a cocky little excuse for a footballer and was absolutely terrible when he came on.

Dyer was average.

The only positive performances were from Hobbs, Oakley and King again, Morrison made a hash of it to gift them the 2nd goal, and the lack of closing down for the first was embarassing.

QPR had the edge today, that slight edge which we had on most teams last season, but nothing so far.

We can't score, we basically have no strikeforce. And the limited resources we have there are played by PS out of position most of the time.

This is a bitter blow result today. We could have won this and got a massive springboard for the rest of the season, now it's back to the drawing board again.

2 games at Pompey. 2 wins required somehow.

Can't work it out, we're playing very good (Barr today althought I thought we played ok, I've seen much worse) but some of Sousa's tactics, comments and ideas are very worrying.

I guess Fryatt being brought in was because Howard was knackered from tuesday. Ah well we just got to keep going and not let this affect us.

I wasn't there, but from the "sound" of it (and what I expected from a Warnock team) they came to spoil and pick off the scraps. Fair play, they won, it worked.

I call this "Ineffectiveness in Motion".

Whereas the Cardiff game was the stage for some of the players from last season to make up for the playoff defeat this May, today's result, albeit very flattering for QPR, is about right.

You can blame the referee for his odd decisions and his bias as much as you want to, in the end, we lost because we failed to create anything representable for 97 minutes.

As soon as we have possession and cross the halfway line, no one has a clue what to do with the ball. It's all back and forth, whilst valuable moments for attacking plays are wasted.

And I thought the learning curve had kicked in and the team playing better with each new game. Meh.

Again, set pieces that could not be converted. Shots gone amiss, Gallagher and Waghorn spring to mind.

I think QPR are vastly overrated and we contained them pretty much for the majority of the match.

Two silly mistakes and we get punished. I was hoping the first goal against would act as a wake-up call (just like Naylor's fluke on Tuesday), but it didn't seem to change a lot in the player's attitude.

At least we saw some more long balls drilled forward, and Howard distributed them really well.

Questions remaining after today's performance:

Why starting Fryatt up front on his own? Remained anonymous and lost.

Why Waghorn on the side? And why Gallagher doing the same as a substitute? Both will never justify their price tag of £3m and £1.5m respectively as long as they continue to be played out of position.

Why was Oakley taken off and Wellens, the biggest source of frustration today, allowed to play the full stretch?

And where was that 3rd substitute, Mr. Sousa?

Will start by saying that that referee MUST have been in the pay of QPR. No official actually receiving money to do his job could be that incompetent without there being something more sinister than basic uselessness, absolutely appalling officiating from beginning to end. Fryatt and Waghorn could have been gangraped and murdered and not received a penalty today.

Apart from that, depressing stuff. Shit going forward, outplayed in midfield but they weren't all that great either. Then again, the sign of a good team is playing badly and winning and that's exactly what they did. We had no cutting edge today, which is all the more frustrating after a great performance against Cardiff on Tuesday. That was the difference today, that and QPR's 12th man in yellow.

At least we Fosse Boys were good.

<RANT> Just got back and if I wasn't feeling bad enough i've just sat through Sousa's post match interview. His conclusions seemed to be that we looked leggy right from the warm-up and we won't win a battle because we don't know how to. Additionally Morrison just said he was out on his feet with 5 minutes left.

Well those comments are the final nail for me. The only place we're going with this clown in charge is back to League 1.

It is crystal clear that Waghorn is not Sousa's signing as he was marginalised on the left side of midfield for much of the game and didn't look like he knew what to do. Dyer seems to be quickly reverting to type - a few runs early on in a game and then fading away badly - although Sousa's masterstroke of swapping his wing after he had scared their full back shitless in the first 10 minutes didn't help. Wellens' distribution was so shocking it was laughable, yet he wasn't taken off. The tactic of passing around for 90 seconds and the ball ending back with Ikeme who would then balloon it out to the left wing was shambolic - you can see exactly what the Swansea fans were talking about in how he likes to play. Fryatt suddenly looks the same disaster that he was in our relegation season and we lack pace horribly, right throughout the team. Our crosses into the box, and set piece delivery was crap. The players seemed to be knackered after 2 games in a week - in September???. The set-up of the team today was clearly wrong, yet Sousa waited nearly an hour to change it, and then didn't make the right change.

This is a team who will end up winning very very few games at this level. Sticking with a manager and patience are laudible things, but only when the manager is worth sticking with, and this guy is certainly not that. I fear very badly for the club and god knows what our investors are thinking </RANT>

It was a nailed on penalty, and the guy should have seen red. From the first kick when the ref and his lap dogs turned up practically wearing the QPR kit i didn't think we'd get anything!!!

For a start he's not a winger, Drop Fryatt who quite frankly on recent performances and if true's has handed a transfer request can fuck off unless he bucks his ideas up, put Waghorn up front, Bring Gallagher in.

Waghorn is not the answer to all out problems, he will not solve all out problems but i'm more than confident he'd offer more up front being the striker he is than Fryatt.

And i'm a Fryatt fan....
