Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 If we have the money we're supposed to have then let's go all out & get Martin O'Neil back in charge. His motivation & passion is so infectious he'd turn this club round.
Matt Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Gotta agree with the fact if the owners are serious and have money then they should go all out to get the best manager within reason (Obviously we wouldn't get Mourinho or Ferguson) but MON would have a look surely, and everyone has a price, money talks. However i'd be unsure about bringing MON back, generally it doesn't work out second time round, and why ruin his great Leicester name and legend status, because it would not be the same as the mid-nineties I can tell you that now, he wouldn't bring as much success and fans would be on his back.
FrankieADZ Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 of course I'd like to see him back but, we have as much change of finding an MP who doesnt lie.
Guest Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 We need someone to focus on defense whether that is sousa or one of his staff or a new guy. Defense is a priority. especially defensive positioning.
Matt Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 We need someone to focus on defense whether that is sousa or one of his staff or a new guy. Defense is a priority. especially defensive positioning. OK, agree, but then how do we get over struggling to score in a brothel?
FrankieADZ Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 OK, agree, but then how do we get over struggling to score in a brothel? maybe the lads need to go on a fact finding mission to a brothel.....they might start scoring after that....look what it did for Rooney I thought Chrissy P did some defence work? could be wrong tho,
broughtonblue Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 i have a feeling o'neil will be liverpool manager by christmas. i've always thought he wanted the job up there but timing is everything. can't see hodgson lasting much longer so think he is hanging around for that. how about bryan robson for us, good experienced manager with passion!

Are you Mandaric in disguise?
Tuna Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 There is as much chance of Scotland winning the next world cup as there is of O'Neill coming back here.
wurmer Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 There is as much chance of Scotland winning the next world cup as there is of O'Neill coming back here. Football or Curling?

l444ry Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 sorry mate, don't get your point. your ideas for a replacement are? Only Mandaric would come up with such a popular choice as yours, broughton!! Replacements - O'Driscoll, Poyet, Curbishley, Robins etc. etc.......
howsyourfather Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 As much as i'd love martin to come back it will never happen, let's not kid ourselves
Babylon Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Is this thread for real? You are suggesting O'Neil, who famously had a demonstration against him after only about 8 games in charge. Would you give him 8 games and start posting lets get another manager threads if it wasn't going well?
ithuriel Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 he had a demonstration against him after 11 games in charge with 1 win and mostly all draws that left us in about tenth place but we could score and when the defence tightened up we strolled into the play-offs. martin wo'nt come back, been here done that kind of thing.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 MON wont be coming back. Bit pointless talking about it.
Lisburn Fox Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 MON wont be coming back. Bit pointless talking about it. Unfortunately Peter Boro is spot on
Zingari Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 let's get Paul Dickov back and give him the job
