ozleicester Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 There was riots apparently last night. http://web.orange.co.uk/article/news/protesters_plan_u2_tax_demo_at_glastonbury "riot" respect to the protesters.
StanSP Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Chase & Status live is somethin' else. Look brilliant again. Can't wait to see them in November
ScouseFox Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Can't wait to see them in November I saw them at Isle of Wight Festival the other week, not really that much of a fan, but they put on one hell of a show. One of the best of the weekend, very hot and sweaty in the tent. Might go and see them again in October.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Was ecstatic when my pal told me terminator was starting on BBC 1 Even the old caveat of 'oh there early stuff is good' couldn't stop me from being embarrassed to own some U2 records last night. BBC's coverage was as sycophantic and outdated as ever.
Samilktray Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Anywhere I can watch the full Wu Tang performance, or is the video of them doing Gravel Pit on the BBC Glastonbury website the best I'm gonna get?
SystonFox Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 as said by someone else - biffy were awesome as ever. cant wait for next saturday at MKB with the fooooos
Joe. Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Jessie J! Marvellous Cast and all. Likeable girl, but can't help but cry inside when I hear a song of hers come on the radio. Even though, to be fair, she's pretty damn good.
jonthefox Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 "riot" respect to the protesters. oh im sorry. Its just when i read the opening line of ' violent scenes erupt', i thought it was bit more than a mudfight.
ozleicester Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 oh im sorry. Its just when i read the opening line of ' violent scenes erupt', i thought it was bit more than a mudfight. Completely agree.. what a surprise, our media blowing something out of proportion.. nevertheless, glad someone is saying something about U2 and their bullshit.
purpleronnie Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Cant stand jessie J - like a lame version of lady gaga with even worse songs. yuk.
Narborough_fox Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Cant stand jessie J - like a lame version of lady gaga with even worse songs. yuk. I agree, can't wait for Paolo Nutini. Love that man with a passion.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 I agree, can't wait for Paolo Nutini. Love that man with a passion. Snap. Well the Paolo Nutini bit, I like Jessie J.
The Doctor Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 BBC coverage so far has been shit. Missed a big chunk of Biffy's set yesterday, turn on the "round-up" show after U2's set is finished. 3 hours and i'd say about half of that was interviews and uninteresting babbling about stuff no-one gives a shit about. From the music there two bits worth listening to: Biffy (Just 1 track) & Primal Scream (2 tracks).
Itsthejoeker Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Only one video of Wu-Tang-Clan?! Disappointing...
purpleronnie Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 And the one they showed sounded awful. Most of the bands I dig haven't been shown.
Matt Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Coldplay look pretty good. Was a huge fan of their first 2 albums then went off them. Think I like the sound of their new stuff, not really heard alot/enough yet. Yellow Was looking forward to The Chemical Brothers but Fearne and Reggie have done my head in so I had to fold and switch to BBC2 to see Coldplay.
