samuel Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Shite game....Forget all the safety bollocks, we got beat by a better prepared team Both teams had to play in it, Leicester looked liked they thought it'd be called off, so never got going. Leicester are shite away from home and Sven doesn't look like he knows what to do about it. Far more worrying is Chris Kirkland, get rid of him for gods sake!
FrankieADZ Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 load of crap, looked like some players were tip toeing about the pitch....so it must have been a good one Just hope we beat Leeds on Boxing Day.
The Doctor Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 pathetic. Stuart Atwell proving yet again that he should not be a ref. It's debatable whether the match should have gone ahead in the first place but they definately should not have come back out after they went off in the second half. - Wellens slid a good 4 or so feet just turning, if his foot had caught in the surface he'd be looking at a broken ankle, best case scenario, Vitor looks to have done his hamstring and i didn't think there was contact meaning that was due to the conditions as well. Davies goal - well he was clearly on side, others were off but he was on. call me a cynic but if ipswich hadn't been winning, it would have been abandoned at half time. Oh and sky, try getting some competent commentators - "Naughton scored his first for leicester last week", err no he scored against leeds. In the analysis of the davies goal - "gallagher was offside there" - When he's taking the free kick? I don't think he was offside. Plus countless other.
Brainy Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Keane: A lot of pressure being put on the referee by Leicester... **** off, actually raging so much im shouting at my tv.
AoWW Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 I just hope all our fans get home safely. Roads are treacherous, particularly around Cambridge, apparently. Take it easy, folks.
Karljohn Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Nothing constructive is gonna come from this. We lacked heart from the start (even more so after the first goal) Tactics were wrong, Howard probably should have started and we needed to play a lot narrower It should have been postponed before KO Nothing went our way today and we were just poor all round It's not sour grapes about the postponement, I posted before the match that the conditions looked ridiculous. Needed a bit more meat out there today, our lightweight guys like Abe, Dyer, Naughton etc were bulldozed by a Keane side hellbent on stopping the rot. We were too easily knocked around and you can't really expect pacy players to stand up on that surface. It was the perfect time to revert to the League 1 Howard/Fryatt one dimensional option.
lestajigs Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 **** me there making out ipswitch were world class on sky!! **** off ref **** off snow **** off sky
martyn Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Keane: A lot of pressure being put on the referee by Leicester... **** off, actually raging so much im shouting at my tv. He clearly stated that Ipswich would be doing the same if the boot was on the other foot.
l444ry Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Gutless and spineless performance in the first half hour. Same as at Watford (no snow then). Blaming the conditions gives them an undeserved excuse.
ScouseFox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Bizarre and horrific. Mainly bizarre. Attwell is laughable.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Shameful performance. fooking namby pamby useless twats. Yes the game should not have been played but Ipswich showed more determination and heart than us and thoroughly deserved the 3 points tonight. If we had shown the same desire as them and lost I could take it but there was no effort at all. Hope Sven gives them the bollocking of their lives because that is what they deserve.
FoxyPV Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Always on the cards - we are too Jekyll and Hyde at the moment. Win at home, lose away seems to be the way things are going.
wurmer Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Keane: A lot of pressure being put on the referee by Leicester... **** off, actually raging so much im shouting at my tv. He will be sacked by Jan don't worry - he's a total wind-up merchant, don't let it get to you. Feel sorry for him really, sad man.
Mack Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 We did'nt fancy it from the off. Game should never have been played, that weather has been forecast for that region since yesterday. Atwell is a **** of the highest order, but from Sven down we looked like we couldn't wait to get on the bus home. Kirkland is a crock and will never play regular football again, waste of time having him on loan and the second goal he should have saved. Davies was Bambi on ice, and at that last time Atwell stopped the game I reckon Keane went in his office and he shat his pants.
Matt Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Whether it should or shouldn't have gone on Ipswich were better in these conditions simple, it was the same for them as us. Who would have been pleading for it to be abandoned if we were 3-0 up.
CupidStunt Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Almost laughable, they scored 3 shit goals, thought kirkland could have done better with the 2nd,and yuki made a mistake with the 3rd Not sure its just me, but i get the feeling when Vitor went down like that and just before he went off,and if i dare say, maybe even feined an injury to try and get the game called off due to him slipping? Lets see if he is ok for the next game We would have been going raving mad if it was the other way round, but having said that, i dont think i have ever seen anything like it before, and was sure it was going to end during the interval. If it was 0-0, there is no way on this earth the game would have continued
cambridgefox Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 I just hope all our fans get home safely. Roads are treacherous, particularly around Cambridge, apparently. Take it easy, folks. Just left Cambridge an hour ago.mayhem.3 miles towards Ely Nothing.A14 might be ok,didnt seem too bad, just a tad slushy.
darko2k7 Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Pmsl was that Rupert Murdoch posing as an ex ref on the phone in a minute ago , he seemed personally hurt that they were mentioning sky might have been a factor in the game going on , Wot a N*B head
lestajigs Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Bang on Sven (who wants to watch a game in this)
Brainy Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Sitting in a bar in Australia watchin the game.. at 4am in the morning
FrankieADZ Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 Well Sven talked alot of sense on Sky, but Davis and Vitor are both injured.....groin and hamstring.
