Guest Mee-9 Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I for one cannot wait for Tuesday now. We have nothing to lose at all, and alot to prove. We get a result against Man City, this could be the momentum we need to propel us up the league. Team: Weale Naughton Bamba Hobbs Berner Abe Wellens King Gallagher Dyer (Could be a handful) Vassell. We're taking over 25 coaches Via foxtravel, Around 15 other coaches from various supporters clubs, and other minibuses. So it's going to be a huge convoy. The tickets are expected to sell out tomorrow aswell. The Man City fans will be doing the Poznan again on the 24th minute for Neil Young. Lets hope its going to be a great atmosphere. As I said theres nothing to lose, alot to gain. Prediction: 0-0, We'll nick it on penalties with Howard scoring the winning penalty, sparking chaos down our end. Cant wait.

Do we know how well the home end is selling??
Ashley Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Do we know how well the home end is selling?? If you go on to Manchester Citys official site. Click Tickets - Home - against Leicester you can see the ground plan, looks like it'll be a near sell out to me.

Spot on, can't see any other options really and it was the team who did well at home so no reason to change. I have a feeling however that after us showing them up last weekend that their big boys will be a lot more fired up and will be just too good for us. I hope I'm wrong but I can see shipping a fair few. Still, so excited, hopefully the 6 or so thousand of us can make a shitload of noise for the boys throughout, regardless of the scoreline.
phillthefox Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 reports as of yesterday was under 400 away tickets left so hope all the 1 gamers going away for first time will get involved and make some real noise, as said above nothing to lose lets go for it from the off and make it a night to remember 2-1 leicester vassell gallagher.
ScouseFox Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Same team as the original tie. This could go either very well or very badly.
AmyLGK Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Due to circumstances beyond my control I am now unable to go to this and could f-ing cry! As with the home leg - I'm hoping we put in an performance to be proud of and get away without any injuries. I'll be a proud fox then, no matter what the score!
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Can't see us winning. Then again I couldn't have imagined we'd do as well as we did in the 1st leg. I hope even if we go behind we'll have a party all game. Got hopes of a 90th minute winner sparking a Leicester pitch invasion .. sadly not going to happen Sven's gotta go with our strongest team which is the side that faced them last time.

And hopefully Mancini goes with the tosh that is Jo and SWP in his starting 11. Lescott at centre half as well please!
MC Prussian Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I would field the same starting eleven that played in the game yesterday. Depending on fitness levels, Waghorn or Vassell to start up front. We have a good squad at the moment, I just hope our back four can contain Tevez & Co. as good as possible. Berner seems to be running out of steam a bit, lacking in stamina and Hobbs needs to put in an extra shift in terms of marking and positioning. Manchester will be up for this big time and their fans are already talking about Notts County and revel in 3-0, 4-0 home wins on Tuesday. But, hey ho - here's to another cupset!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 As people are saying we have to play the team from the original game. Can see golas in this again, hopefully we take the chances we make as you cant afford not to in these games. It can be done, but I'll say 3-1 to Man City. Gallagher scoring.
Kitchandro Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I would field the same starting eleven that played in the game yesterday. Depending on fitness levels, Yakubu or Vassell to start up front. Don't think Yakubu can play As everyone says, same team as last week. Give it your best lads!
kylestyle06 Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I hope all the fair weather supporters watch this on tv and we stand all game. Let's all have a disco
Mee Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Can't wait for this. Got to pull a sicky off school. Day off for football = love it!
cc_star Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Our team picks itself The Yak is ineligible, the only query is to whether Vassell has recovered or not - If not then surely Waggy will get a nod Weale Naughton - Bamba - Hobbs - Berner Gallagher - Abe - Wellens - King - Dyer Vassell/Waggy I think they'll be some changes at ManCity and they'll certainly look to get a grip of the midfield after they were bullied by Wellens & Abe last time out - Also we're probably not going to be surprising them at set-pieces in the same way. I'd love it if we beat them, but I can see them raising their game to play closer to their ability. Unfortunately I think we'll run out plucky losers 3-1
Corky Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 We thoroughly deserved a draw in the first game, it'll be very difficult to get a win but you never know. The pressure is all on them, let's have a go and see what happens.
shailen Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 They would have to be fairly woeful and we need to be at our best, closing them down at every oppurtunity, and i believe for this match we should play a high line, playing the offside trap. On paper it looks an easy win for city but thats the beauty of the cup!
MC Prussian Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Don't think Yakubu can play As everyone says, same team as last week. Give it your best lads! :doh:Silly me. I stand corrected. So that means we're bound to witness the return of the 2-Million Pound Man... In Waggy we trust...
Kitchandro Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Silly me. So that means we're bound to witness the return of the 2-Million Pound Man... In Waggy we trust... Well if Vassell's not fit I'd love Waggy to prove himself again. Would hate to see him go out on loan, that would be the beginning of the end for him.
