Babylon Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 From stringer.... "There's a chance #lcfc could play a pre-season friendly against #arsenal in Thailand. Not official as yet but #lcfc say "they'd welcome it"" I bet they would bloody welcome it.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 I can see the headlines now... "Arsenal to Play Biggest Team in Thailand."
MikeyT Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 I was going to post this but didn't know if it was worthy of its own thread. I was clearly wrong. Be a good game if it happens.
ajthefox Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 As long as it's early and the players get to recover properly then I don't see a problem with it. Sounded like they enjoyed it and it was beneficial so why not, looks like they got great treatment.
cambridgefox Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 As long as we can get a stream, bring it on. im flying to Thailand on thursday and in Koh Samui they have had 400mm of rain yesterday!!!! they can do more than a bloody stream!

Fox92 Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Why can't they play it at the Walkers so that we can see Arsenal, or at the Emirates so we could have a day out and a vistit to the ground and London etc?

lcfc_jme Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Why can't they play it at the Walkers so that we can see Arsenal, or at the Emirates so we could have a day out and a vistit to the ground and London etc? Genuine cringe, not that it suprises me from somebody who likes Notts Forest and feels players aren't good enough to "grace a Liverpool shirt". For what it's worth, I'd be happy for us to play the friendly in Thailand provided it was done in enough time for us to get back to England and recover properly before the season kicked off.

Bugg Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Fox92 - we'll see them at The Emirates and The Walkers next season anyway [/delusion]
anotherharboroughfox Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Probably just Fox Travel it as usual. I would be very surprised if anyone stayed sane.
Asha Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 I would be very surprised if anyone stayed sane. Nah, it's really not that bad. Throw in a crossword marathon, the football name game and a DVD of Tony Cottee's greatest goals and there's really nowhere else to be.
Fox92 Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Genuine cringe, not that it suprises me from somebody who likes Notts Forest and feels players aren't good enough to "grace a Liverpool shirt". Why? What was wrong with my question? Its like Manchester United playing Barcelona like they have announced in America. Whats the point? Oh yeah, I can't like 'Notts Forest' because they arn't a real football club. If you stop cringing then may you would take notice. Plus, whats it got to do with you if I do anyway? Just because other people don't it doesn't mean I have to follow. Its not like its a massive fierce rivalry like Wolves & West Brom or Liverpool & Manchester United etc. Another thing, why can't I seem to say 'grace a Liverpool shirt' now? I am not a sheep and I don't follow other people or what they choose to like or not to like. You don't see me telling you not to buy this or not to like that. I'm free to say whatever I, whatever I like if its wrong or right its alright. Seeing as you keep targeting my posts, take a look at this one. Let me know if there is anything here that you don't agree with, and I'll try and change it so that it comes into agreement with your opinions.

21st Century Fox Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 We shouldn't play outside the borders of Leicestershire, lets keep this club our little secret.
