Nick Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 It's ridiculous, in all my years i've never seen so much shit talked on here and it's bee the busiest transfer year for ages!
Narborough_fox Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official Yobo and Yakubu's shirt printing has been taken down from Everton's official website also, all other players still up #EFC 2 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply Fourth Official Fourth_Official Fourth Official Seem's Everton have left Joseph Yobo and Yakubu behind whilst they go on a pre-season tour of America #EFC
stix Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Looks to be off according to that fourth official fella. yak hasnt gone to america with the rest of the squad and his name & number has been taken off the shirt printing section of the everton website. Obviously doesnt mean he is coming here though Edit: Damn it Narborough!!.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Fourth_Official Fourth Official@ @liamlcfc wouldn't surprise me if Leicester have gone back in for him if it's true that he's not travelled, will find out tomorrow I suppose
STUHILL Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 To be honest I would take him now. I think he could fit quite nicely in to our system if we get another pacey winger/frontman. No doubt he will score and with Nugent working his socks off along side him, then could be great success here.
Ozwin Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 I said something like this would happen. They'd get desperate, lower their asking price, he lowers his wage demands and viola, the Yak becomes a fox. Here's hoping that's what's happening anyway haha
Liamlcfc1 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Just been told hugely possible and a deal can be done very quick.
Narborough_fox Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Just been told hugely possible and a deal can be done very quick. :D :D :D :D . Over the moon with this.
MikeyT Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Just been told hugely possible and a deal can be done very quick. Lovely jubbley
STUHILL Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Just been told hugely possible and a deal can be done very quick. Wow. I would be happy as he is definitely our 20 goal a season man but I'm not sure if i can put up with people saying he is fat and lazy for a whole season if he doesn't score every game!
Corky Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Why botger repltinf if yku reajkise nithinfs hapenung ou **** AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FED UP WUTH SHUT ROMERD ARRRRRRRGGGHHHH PIBA ARTB BASSD ROULGR!!!!!!!!!!! :chant: :chant: :chant: :chant: :chant: You always say that.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 was i right or what Fourth_Official Fourth OfficialLeicester have made a new bid of £4million for Everton's Yakubu, clever by Everton #LCFC #EFC
STUHILL Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Like i say possible so may or may not happen Ahh ok. He can't be that keen otherwise he would have joined as soon as he could but I guess he could be one worth waiting on to get a better deal. Can't think of many better strikers available to us now.
Stevosevic Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Would love this to happen, but have we changed our stance or has Yak changed his demands?
RizLCFC Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 I would rather have Yakubu (proven 20 goals a season striker) here for £4million than Nicky Maynard, who suffered a serious injury last year, has a year left on his contract and would cost in excess of £5million and not as proven as The Yak to get 20+ goals.
sdb Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Hmmm Everton have played us well, just like Reading did. Yak would be great but tbh i'd rather Maynard!
Daz93 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Wow, £4m is a bit of a step up from £2m, but still cheaper than Maynard. Wonder what his wages would be like, though.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 He is on 80K and and we will only go up to 50K thats where it all begins not the bid or fee the wages.
STUHILL Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 He is on 80K and and we will only go up to 50K thats where it all begins not the bid or fee the wages. 50k is crazy money really for us. He has to score 20+ to justify that in the championship!
Liamlcfc1 Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 Don't get too excited.... Good point its only a bid long way to go
RizLCFC Posted 16 July 2011 Posted 16 July 2011 He is on 80K and and we will only go up to 50K thats where it all begins not the bid or fee the wages. If Mills is on 30k, I would give the Yak 40k, 50 is a bit much!
