StanSP Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 My thanks to the OP for crediting the source. I love your tweets by the way. Also, 588 attempts on goal and only 76 goals. Anyone know other clubs' stats to put that in perspective? I say only 76 - it could be a good thing!
jamesmilner Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 7th - the position we were in when sven ****ed it up !
Number 6 Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 We have changed from a side who used to be known to be defensively tough, to one who can score a fair few goals - this I see as a good step. Whilst we have put many goals past weaker opposition though, we seem to have struggled against the big boys, suggesting something is lacking and we possibly need to be a little more balanced. 12 goals scored in out last 3 home games though, could become a real fortress next season.
sven-your-smiling Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 23,709 – The average attendance at the Walkers Stadium this season, 233 lower than last year. where were you when we were s**t!!!!!!!!!
ThorpeAstleyFox Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 7th - the position we were in when sven ****ed it up ! 22nd - the position we were in when Sven took over
Stevosevic Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 7th - the position we were in when sven ****ed it up ! Great attitude
Corky Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 7th - the position we were in when sven ****ed it up ! And he did nothing whatsoever to move us up 15 places to seventh.
davieG Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 Joint 6th in the form table since Sven took over. Only Swansea won more games. (source Bentleys) My thanks to the OP for crediting the source. Agree somewhat rude of them.
Frost Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 7th - the position we were in when sven ****ed it up ! You twat.
sven-your-smiling Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 7th - the position we were in when sven ****ed it up ! considering we were in 22nd when sven took over and we've finishing 10th just missing out on the play offs because of a dip in form. i'd say most of us are just thankful that we weren't in a relegation battle
rico Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 anyone know how many corners we ended up having all season?
FuriousFox46 Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 anyone know how many corners we ended up having all season? 6012. We scored one.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 1 - The number of goalless games involving City this season in all competitions - The first home game against Middlesbrough
Foxblogger Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 I love your tweets by the way. Also, 588 attempts on goal and only 76 goals. Anyone know other clubs' stats to put that in perspective? I say only 76 - it could be a good thing! Thanks. It's a bit late to put something together on excel, but when you combine all the attempts on goal by Leicester's opponents it comes to 398. To put it another way Leicester scored a goal every 7.34 attempts this season, their opponents scored once in every 5.6 attempts. anyone know how many corners we ended up having all season? 292.
ajthefox Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 9 – The number of points Leicester won against sides in the top 6 (from a possible 36). 10 – The number of league games in which City conceded three or more goals. 13 – The number of different starting centre-back partnerships for City. 71 – The number of league goals conceded by City, the most since 1994/95 (80). 11 – The number of points the Foxes dropped from winning positions. 15 – The number of points the Foxes gained from losing positions. The 4 major downfalls. 13 CB partnerships explains 10 and 71 though, that really is a shocking figure. I picked out 11 but I don't think that would be that high on a table of averages, I suppose it should be less for a top team but it's not as bad as the other figures, and is somewhat muted by 15.
CKB Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 And here are Chrisuki's Season Review Stats 1: We started shit 2: We got better 3: We ended shit
jonthefox Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 13 – The number of different starting centre-back partnerships for City. Says it all.
Corky Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 That 13 defensive partnerships is worrying. Scoring four or more six times is very pleasing though.
AKCJ Posted 11 May 2011 Posted 11 May 2011 The first stat shows how quickly Sven has adapted to this league. If it wasn't for Weale's clanger then he'd be unbeaten in 'rematches'. Looking forward to next season.
