jamesmilner Posted 21 May 2011 Posted 21 May 2011 did sven play a player that is unfit to play then this season ? i dont think so ! tunchev or any other player would not be allowed on a football pitch if not FIT in the context i think being questioned ? this puts the player and club in a precarious position if they did . the players agent would take us to the cleaners if he was injured in those circumstances . surely sven putting him on as sub means he is FIT to play again in the context being questioned ? i thought he was a bit rusty but surely we all saw enough to know he can play a bit ? if we are going to sign the loanees sven played for us last season ,then he is a must for me. thats unless we sign better with this "unlimited funds " we have .we will have to see !!!!

I'm not doubting anybody - I don't know anything about the lad. Just wondered what's making people question his attitude. Oddly enough - a quick google search of the lad's name brought this up. He is the worst regular keeper I have ever seen in my life, at Leicester, and nothing but a liability between the sticks. I know he will not be first choice, but we will lose valuable points if he does have to play. DREADFUL!

NOBODY ! its the unknown , like the numbers for the lottery ! can his knees stay strong ? who knows , but technology since gazzas knee surgery has moved on massively . surely the tests done in hospital should be telling ?

What?! Yeah your regular player doesn't always stay fit but then your regular player hasn't had two knees pretty much reconstructed and only played a handful of minutes under a manager!

Most of the entire team were unfit for big chunks of this season, part of why sven had to chop and change as much as he did. Tunchev or any other player would not be allowed on a football pitch if not FIT in the context i think is being questioned. What's being questioned is whether his fitness would be good enough for him to play much of a part next season, if he's fit enough for one game doesn't mean that he's fit enough to play enough matches next season, his knee injuries may have forced him into a ledley king sort of situation where he can't train everyday or play many matches in succession. This puts the player and club in a precarious position if they did because the players agent would take us to the cleaners if he was injured in those circumstances. Why? While the player is under contract at the club their agent can't say or do anything about whether he plays and any result of him playing in a paticular match.
