We all agree his logic is correct in.getting a decent an sum for a player who.was probably already on a sizable amount each week and new that ,with his contract ending, tto renew it would cost considerably more. Particularly if leeds dont go up ,most of us agree it would probably cost leeds even.more in wages to entice him to stay rather then seeking a premiership opportunity. The issue is that grayson sees simply an opportunity to spend on his defence ,replacing kasper with an average keeper wholl do a job,as particularly unattached or in prem reserves,there are plenty flying about. I truly think grayson doesnt want rid of kasper buh does see him as replacable to the point wheere it can benefit and maybe improve leeds. Actually very clever business,but kasper has taken it personally,hence the backlash.

bald reynard Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 Grayson's interview published on the Leeds OS an hour or so ago, seemed to imply that he thought Schmeichel was a bit 'dodgy'. He said, that the defence required improving and that another goalkeeper was needed to do that. He said a deal for someone else to come in, had been lined up before City's bid for KS - and (again) implied that they (whoever it was) would replace Schmeichel - "to tighten up a defence that was very leaky last season". I hope we're not taking another 'flapper' - I've never seen Schmeichel over a full game (only MoD highlights).

What a pisser. (Leeds United): i am angry and disgusted at the way we sign a quality player in Kasper on a crappy 2 year contract only and there is no room for movement on a new contract later on, then Bates sees the colour of the money of only £1 million and bye bye Kasper, i want to go on record and say we the fans dont want you to leave Kasper your quality and awesome
