rico Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 He has probably got the skinniest legs you will ever see!
sphericalfox Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 He has probably got the skinniest legs you will ever see! It's quite possibly the most amazing feat of biology in football. How exactly his legs don't snap, is beyond me. Oh, and apparently he could bench 280 in the LCFC gym. i could have got that detail incorrect, but from memory he was lauded by a couple of other players. Perhaps they were taking the pish.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 So, summing it all up he's the fastest one legged chicken (minus head) in the west!
thybluefox Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I really like him, its just a shame his final ball/shot doesn't match his pace. He'll do well for you, and I'd actually be glad to see him move on, I'd love for him to make an impact here but I just can't see it happening next season. Few songs Ohhh Lloyd Dyer m'lord, oh Lloyd Dyer, ohhh Lord Lloyd Dyer. Llooooyd, Lloyd will tear you apaaart agaaaaiin.
Marmite Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 He reminds me of starvin marvin off south park, with his skinny legs
nuttytimmy Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Does he score quite a few? We need goals in our midfield. I'd say he's an irregular goalscorer but he does come up with the goods - he's faltered in the Championship but bagged ten in League One and was a first team regular under Pearson. I think I'm another one who's fond of Dyer's attacking, willing play.
RizLCFC Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Don't mind him staying he's a good squad player, if he does leave then not fussed either as we will probably have a replacement lined up andfan sure he won't play a big part this season anyway! Not first choice anymore.
hackneyfox Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 We need to ship him out asap, otherwise we'll be paying him for the next 3 seasons. He has no future with us and hopefully will go along with Weale, Berner, Howard & N'guessan
Kent Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 When on form he can take defenders on at will (especially in League 1) but like others have said tends to lack the cross or shot to make him a good Champ player. Definitely useful in League 1 and could do a job in a lower Champ team I'd say. He's explosive early doors but is usually fvcked by about 60/70 mins and starts looking really knackered so expect him to get subbed fairly regularly. Overall I'd say, without knowing the player he'll replace at yours, he would be a good acquisition for you.
Dan Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Absolutely rapid, fastest player I've ever seen for us. Not a bad shot on him either, but not exactly the most creative, often cuts in, and often goes missing. In L1 for us though, he was superb.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I direct you to 3:33, rapid, and he actually scored a 1 on 1!
Kent Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I direct you to 3:33, rapid, and he actually scored a 1 on 1! Shame about the offside, haha!
anotherharboroughfox Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Shame about the offside, haha! Yeah forgot to mention that but it was only a foot
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I remember him being incredible for the first few months of the League One season.
Corky Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Sven only sees him as an impact sub, he'll get first-team football at Wednesday so it would be a sensible move. He'd be very good in League One.
Guest parky0607 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I hope he's better than Michael Morrison! Can you Leicester lads and lasses give me a lowdown on this lad? What are his strengths and weaknesses? Thanks. He's f@ckin rapid, can punt a ball way out of his way and still run and get to it, but he's got a touch and a shot like a camel
ithuriel Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 In league one if played properly he can be a formidable attacking player.
paddy Agyemang Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Lloyd Dyer is a quality winger and causes most defences trouble, his pace is superb and his cross isnt bad, the only problem with Lloyd is his strength (non existant) but is a good championship winger
Simmo86 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Lloyd Dyer is a quality winger and causes most defences trouble, his pace is superb and his cross isnt bad, the only problem with Lloyd is his strength (non existant) but is a good championship winger :crylaugh:
Austin Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Remember his lob against 'uddersfield in L1 .. Ohh Lloyd He'll do well at L1 for the Owls if you get him
acooling08 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Lloyd is so inconsistent. He has pace yes, but he has no final product. He can't cross or finish.
