With all the technology available today, there’s got to be a more sophisticated way of scoring a boxing match these days than relying on three blokes sat ringside.

How it was a split decision was beyond me, close early but usyk totally dominated

You'd guess it's PR. Probably Hearn in his ear. Set up some beef, go for a ridiculous WWE style heel turn and hype up a trilogy fight. It's all theatre isn't it.

At the end of the day, Joshua never recovered from that shot from Ruiz.

 

Gun-shy and terrified of the counter.  Relied on keeping his distance and trying to end fights with single punches.

 

He's been a fantastic champion and I would hate to see him drop down the card and become a division gatekeeper like so many before him.
