thats the problem though no one has seen him play in two years, if fit great, but if he is fit he will go to bolton like his dad ?

Who are you on about?

Sven didnt favour Waghorn at all last season yet has apparently said he's in his plans for this season

When and where did Sven say that!! I have not seen Sven make any comments about Waghorn.

So many posts, so much bullshit, so little fact.

This is true of 90% of threads in the Transfers forum....

Hargreaves is more than capable in this league and could definately do a job for us if fit. Saying that, very much doubt he'd come, or even stay fit enough.

There might be some juice in this one, I'm told.

Is that the extent of it? Any info about what'll be required of him? (Train for amount of months before signing/basic wage with a pay as you play type deal/just a normal contract)

Being very question-y tonight :P

Interesting. Not sure how I feel about it tbh. Would surely (unjustifiably) comman big wages and obviously the fitness issue. On the other hand its not my money.

We'd be a laughing stock if he signed and picked up another injury with us though. There's a reason why Utd released him.

As soon as he was linked i had a good feeling about this one. I think alot of things 'make sense' and tick the right boxes for a move to the KPS.

If your gonna make a comeback i'd imagine you'd want all the support you could get and he'll certainly get that from sven as we know he was a sven favorite with England.

I wonder if he has bought a plane ticket to sweden...

Roy Hodgson is considering holding talks with Owen Hargreaves to establish whether the former Manchester United midfielder would be interested in joining West Bromwich Albion next season.

Hargreaves, who has also attracted interest from Leicester City, is without a club after United released him following four injury-plagued years at Old Trafford. The midfielder, signed from Bayern Munich for £17m in 2007, made only 39 appearances for United.

Hodgson, who is also keen on the Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster, could be tempted to take Hargreaves to The Hawthorns on a deal that would be linked to the number of games he plays.

The 30-year-old has been posting exercise videos on YouTube to demonstrate his fitness and is hopeful that he can secure a return to the Premier League. He will almost certainly have to accept a pay-as-you-play deal because of his injury record.

I can understand people being cynical about this one, considering the past couple nightmare yrs he has had with injuries, but LCFC wont be made the laughing stock if we give him a chance, he obviously still believes he can do a job and save his career, but in all honestly i dont think he should be laughed at, what a horrid time he has had, his dream being cut short, albeit being paid stupidly high wages at MU in the meantime.

I would certainly cheer for him if he joined us and got to play even a couple games with us :scarf:
