Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 A crappy 05 plate Astra, but it's mine, it's paid for and the leather really does run smooth on the passenger seat
Wymsey Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Red Mini Cooper. (First Car - Going to change it later this year)
cambridgefox Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Red Mini Cooper. (First Car - Going to change it later this year) Is that when the Bugatti Veyron winds its way up the long gravel drive?
Daggers Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 So you went and got one again? Remember you saying you were itching for one in a similar thread a couple of years back (when I had my mini.) There's not a time when I drive it that I don't delight in it. As cars go, it's the nearest thing to the involvement I get from riding a bike. Why everyone doesn't have one, I don't know.
Alexikokopops Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 I have an 06 1 litre Peugeot 107 Perfect for any scooting around town I do. Plus it's only £20 a year to tax. (that's not mine, just one like it)
ajthefox Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Not mine, but only difference is mines an S reg. Driving this at work though...

cambridgefox Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 im a rep so ive just got a 2.0 mondeo but boss is loooking to change it in the next month or two,not sure what to have but there is a 6 month old mondeo estate on the motorpoint site that was 26k new but has done about 8k miles, now 17k,i need an estate for work not my cup of tea but there is a fine line when you see customers between having a crap car and customers getting the wrong impression and being too flash and them thinking you charge too much to pay for the car.We meet in the middle. The wife has a mini cooper s convertible. Now MY BOSS has. 1.Ferrari F430 2.Audi TT 3.Nissan Navara jeep 4.Auto trail campervan/size of a bus 5.Formula 3 racing car Which is over a quarter of a mill

Why everyone doesn't have one, I don't know. Aye I miss mine. Soon as I get some serious disposable money put away...
Zingari Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 I really really really want an Alfa Romeo Guilietta, and I'm putting away as many beer vouchers every week so I can get one in the next few months .
Jon the Hat Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Had a BMW 1 series until someone wrote it off about a month ago. Now got an Audi A3 s line. Which do you prefer?
stix Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 This is my transport at the minute. Old school classic, if it wasnt a complete bag of shit!! Edit: The decals at the bottom of the front wing have long since gone now!!
Guest Bilo Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Slightly random but I really fancy a project based one of these. The ex-MOD sales ground at RAF Witham is about an hour from me and I may be tempted to pop down there once I've a bit more money and time to work on it. They're apparently easy to work on and fairly valuable when fully restored, might even keep it for a bit of a plaything to take to off-road centres on Sundays. I must be nuts.
Soar Fox Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Which do you prefer? Probably the BMW, the only downside it had was, it was terrible in the snow being a rear wheel drive and having run flat tyres on it they were about £110 each.
mikey_b Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 a white 05 Seat Leon Cupra R (older shape), quite heavily modified

Oh yeah heard about that place... heard you can buy stuff like the pic cheap as chips!
Guest Bilo Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Oh yeah heard about that place... heard you can buy stuff like the pic cheap as chips! About £2500 plus VAT (so £3k) for a vehicle like the one pictured. You can also get an old Snatch Land Rover for a couple of grand with the old V8 engine, but I think you need an LGV licence because of the extra weight of the armour plating. They're generally mechanically pretty sound, very well maintained and the Land Rover Defender is a pretty reliable car; but they live a bit of a hard life and the interiors tend to suffer in a big way so most do need a bit of work. A cracking project though if you've got the time.
Jackirius Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Waiting for my test at the minute, but will hopefully have one of these after.
jonthefox Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 check my ride bitch. Seriously a nissan almera....thats kids for you.
