MORGAN Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Glad to know we've got depth in the squad, with rhe cards racked up today, if this is the level of aggression shown, we're going to need everyone! One way of rotating the squad though. Great win whatever way it happened, especially at the Echo Arena(21k that's sad). Sounds as though Abe had a good game too! Echo Arena 21k - 6500 LCFC = about 14500
I am Rod Hull Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Our team spirit sounds fantastic, very, very well done lads. Glad to see Peltier scoring aswell! As someone previously said in the match thread, this result is just as good as a 3-0 win given the circumstances. Proud. Could not agree more... About time...
Christoph Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Also, 21,000 people turning up to a 'derby' on the first game of the season is just embarrassing.
nickelbyfox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 What the fvck are these callers going on about? Put a radio next to Sven so they can listen to Stringer and Youngy
clare Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 From listening to the commentary on Foxes Player, Gelson Fernandes sounds like a class act! :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
Amin Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Claridge talking bollocks about us on final score again.
Jace Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 sounded like a good performance once the team got their bearings where was waghorn today? are we still a top striker short of a top 2 team??
MORGAN Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Also, 21,000 people turning up to a 'derby' on the first game of the season is just embarrassing. Not 21000!!! Thats with our lads. Cov where about 14500
Haydos Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Claridge talking bollocks about us on final score again. Go on....
HoustonFox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Put a radio next to Sven so they can listen to Stringer and Youngy Maybe he wants Sven out?
purpleronnie Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Who cares? What really matters is did we do the poznan?
FoxesFan100 Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Looks like we played 4-4-2 from the team sheet? did we? From what was said on the radio Danns was up front with Nugent and Vassel, I didnt think Danns could play there though, but it sounded like he played well.
Salieri Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 14,500 home fans for a derby game on the first match of the season is frankly, pathetic.
Christoph Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Was 4-3-3 then moved to 4-3-1-1 when vassell got sent off according to 5live.
MC Prussian Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 I take a win away at Coventry any day. Shame the referee had to spoil the party by trying to outshine both teams. Some ridiculous decisions there, dishing out yellow cards for nothing and doing nothing when it mattered. Vassell... I always thought him to be a very fair player. Maybe the pressure got to him, strikers and forwards fighting for a starting spot and all. Pretty silly tackle and he didn't do his team any favours for the first 40 minutes. Glad for Peltier to score the winner - why was Pantsil not starting? Nugent seemed a little lost once more, almost on his own up front. But to be fair, he had more dangerous chances and did better and more than in pre-season. And Gelson Fernandes - take a bow. Best player on the pitch by a landslide. But to be honest, it sounded like the entire team acted as a unit. Good signs of good times ahead. This squad has shown that it has character and that they're playing as a unit. Heck, we're not buying ourselves a title, we're not buying ourselves success. We've bought ourselves a true team. Bring on Reading.
Blinking Blue Owl Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 At last we shit on that little blue elephant ! Long way to go but i'm sure we are just going to get better and better . IE IE IE o
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Who cares? What really matters is did we do the poznan? Haha apparently

Vlad The Impaler Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Heck, we're not buying ourselves a title, we're not buying ourselves success. We've bought ourselves a true team. Couldn't put it any better.

cc_star Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Listened on R5 because I hate Youngy on the radio Sounded slightly out of sorts for 10mins, then all over the place after Vassell's stupidity & then Sven seems to have sorted it out at half time, helped in part by the ref balancing the red cards And our class showed in the 2nd half Think Sven's got some tweaking to his first 11 line-up to do Anyone know how bad Pelt's injury is, shame for him because missing a game with the level of competition for places could be curtains... you listening Vassell? Still a great, great win and a damn good 2nd half Kasper, Pelts, Wellens & Fernandes sounded pick of the pops, with the commentary team saying Danns seemed a bit all over the place & the game passed Abe by
