Libertine Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 It was only just a rumour on Twitter . Would be harsh if true! Thought it was the SSN account though. Seems my 4 eyes deceived me and it was SPY Sports. Looked on and they're just some buffoon starting rumours. Taken off like mad though.

I am Rod Hull Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 hmm... Scousers love it up the gritter...
Super_horns Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Good old Wenger. Takes off Chamberlain who was looking a threat and brings on Arshavin, who only disjoints his own team. Must be the officials fault though surely... 2 very good games actually played generally in good spirit which was nice to see.
StanSP Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 First ever free-to-air Premier League match to be shown on February 4th. League leaders Manchester City's home clash against Fulham on February 4 will be shown on ESPN on Freeview as part of a taster weekend during which the subscription channel will be available for all viewers. Since the inception of the Premier League in 1992, all Premier League football has been broadcast in the UK on pay TV channels. The weekend's coverage will also include live Serie A and Bundesliga football. "This is a great opportunity for us to introduce that to millions more and let them sample the programming ESPN has on offer," ESPN chief Jeroen Oerlemans said. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/23012012/58/premier-league-uk-fans-free-air-premier-league-match.html

Fox92 Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I don't know if that Tevez/Carroll deal is true but if it is, I don't understand why Mancini would want to swap Tevez for Carroll. Mind you, Tevez would be a sensational singing for Liverpool. Cannot see it happening though. Probably twitter nonsense but a couple of whispers earlier about some "truly sensational and mind blowing" transfer news coming out of Newcastle over the next few days.... ... they have always liked a surprise or two to keep fans and followers on their toes!! I was still pretty suprised when they signed Santone. You never know who is next...
AjcW Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I was thinking it might be to do with going back in for Hazard but he has said he will not be moving until the summer.

Libertine Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 van persie gone.. Barcelona have completed the signing of Robin van Persie for a world record transfer fee of £83 million. Erm. Yeah.
Corky Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 They've spent £166 million on Van Persie and Howard.
Fox92 Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 Some crazy transfers going on. SSN reporting QPR are holding talks with Bobby Zamora, meaning Fulham accepted their reported 5million pound bid. Bit suprised, I thought Fulham would have rated him higher than that. If it is true, of course. And also, Middlesbrough rejected a 6million pound bid by Bolton for Rhys Williams They must rate him very highly.
