MC Prussian Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Deal will be confirmed on last day u watch Which last day?
Karljohn Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Deal will be confirmed on last day u watch Yeah, they'll hold out for 8m plus Howard, Crncic, Oakley, Berner, 10 crates of singha beer and those thai dancers.
gazfox9 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 As much as I'd love to see him here, I'd equally like to see the Wurzels hang onto him, and him walk for nothing next season. If they seriously turn down an offer from anyone nearing 5 million quid, thats lunacy. Cos I think its pretty obvious the lad won't be signing a new contract.
Dan Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Because we'd pay a fee for the loan and then another fee to get him here, ultimately totalling about £6mil. It's basically a cheeky way to extend the transfer deadline, plenty of teams have done it.

Lineker's Left Foot Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Cue another 20 pages of drivel about Maynard now then... Telegraph
Number 6 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Really hope this happens, even if we overspend. We can overspend on Mills and Maynard because IMO we have got bargains in Nugent, Danns and Kasper.
Jaspa Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Will the Bank holiday get in the way of this being completed tomorrow?
thybluefox Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Will the Bank holiday get in the way of this being completed tomorrow? Shouldn't have thought so tbh?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Maynard is over rated, and over priced. He is worth no more than £3 million, plus add ons. Don't waste your money Sven.
Callabinho Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Maynard is over rated, and over priced. He is worth no more than £3 million, plus add ons. Don't waste your money Sven. Please tell me your joking... Were you at the Bristol game?

Worth no more than 3 Million!!! have a word, suppose you think shane long isn`t worth 6 million either do you! Maynard is worth 4-5million and how would he be a waist of money if he scores the goal`s that get us promoted!
the3vo Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 BertLcfc LcfcInfoMan #Leicester might be renewing their interest in Yakubu in the next few days, nothing more has happens on the Maynard deal #lcfc'
Happy Fox Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Itkagent1962 ... Hold fire over Maynard people. Not quite yet.
DanTheFox07 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 If Nugent being injured isn`t inccentive enough to go and buy Maynard now, I don`t know what is!
Bettsy82 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 The more I think about the Maynard deal the more I'm going off it we are being ripped off at £6m what makes him a £6m player . He's played his whole career in the championship and Bristol city are just exploiting the fact we have money to spend the yak is a much better option in my opinion. Don't waste the cash Sven **** it off and let Bristol city let him leave for nothing in the summer.
Bettsy82 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Please tell me your joking... Were you at the Bristol game? I was , he missed a pen ! and almost missed his second . not as good as people are making out oh yeh did you see his miss on saturday it was abysmal.
Bettsy82 Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 What a crock of shit. Why did he score the pen and score on Saturday answer = no !
Kitchandro Posted 28 August 2011 Posted 28 August 2011 Why did he score the pen and score on Saturday answer = no ! What? I wasn't replying to you, If I was I would have quoted you. Then again you are wrong, he is the best option there is, much better option than the Yak. If you're talking about missed chances and I can remember quite a number of sitters the Yak missed last season.
