Over 300 pages if this gets merged. lol

I can't even begin to imagine the Bristolian bitterness if he's a Leicester player on Wednesday.

Not really bitter, most of us have wanted it resolved one way or another for weeks now, I fear we've actually played our hand too well and are now left in a lose/lose situation.

And I can't even begin to imagine the amount of 'Well, I didn't want him anyway' posts if he's not a Leicester player on Wednesday.

For the record, I have my questions over him, and have reiterated my point many times in the many Maynard threads, Don't get me wrong, I can't truely have opinion either way because apart from when we played Bristol I can't really say i've took much notice of him, so can't say he's shit, but can't say he's as brilliant as some people claim. The thing that worries me is the price, don't get me wrong any signing can be a risk or come and be shite but I just feel it is alot of money, and I can see what is gonna happen if we sign him, that said if we sign him, i'll welcome him, i'll want him to do well (Obviously).

He's not signing for you. So you better look elsewhere guys.

Thanks for that mate we have been waiting for that news all summer so we might as well close the thread.....idiot

I love how people talk like they know facts about the situation.

I'm talking about Leicester fans aswell as Bristol fans.

I'm question whether the Leicester owners, Bristol owners, Sven, Maynard, Agents and anyone else who is actually involved in the saga actually know what will happen, let alone fans talking like things are fact, due to twitter rumours, internet rumours, paper rumours and any other other 'source' they may be quoting. One way or another it will be sorted by Wednesday but at the moment it seems up in the air for all parties involved.

Have you joined this forum just to say that one sentence ?????

Spoke to him on sat. His partner has not been well, shes going into labour anytime with there first child. Moving is the last thing on his mind at the monent. Not saying he will sign a new contract with us or not, maybe he will leave in January (when the babys here) , maybe he will walk out on a free. Who knows???

But i can honestly say, he wont be joining you this week.

That's great news - so next week it is then - or the week after that or the week after that, right?

You know, I'd really love to close this thread at one point.

And yet he still found time to have a game of footy with his mates!!!

Think what you want guys, i'm just saying what i've been told.

I'd be gutted to lose him to a championship team if he leaves in january, but i wouldnt deny him a chance in the prem. If a prem team came in for him.

Personally, i'm hoping he signs a new deal with us with a premiership release clause. Then it will mean he's giving something back to us and crewe, cause we will get a good fee for him.

And our bid isn't a good one?

Close the thread, Nicky himself has confirmed this to a single Bristol city fan who we have never heard from before and who has no proof

All hail bcfc for his words of wisdom!

Well even if it`s true, that you did speak to him, it`s not likely that he would say to you that he was off, is it.

Until BCFC accept any offer for him, he doesn`t actually have a move to consider anyway.

So if he says to you, "yeah i`m off if i get the chance to move on", and then he doesn`t get that move, and you go on internet forums saying Maynard reckons he`s off, he`s first of all going to look a right plank, and secondly, hardly going to endear himself to the BCFC fans is he.

Best for him to keep quiet, and see what happens.

I would be amazed if his partner having a baby would have any bearing on whether he moved or not.

What if Liverpool came calling, (not gonna happen i know) is he going to say, "sorry king kenny, but my partners having a baby, and i don`t want to move at the moment".

As for him signing another deal with you, he would have done it by now, if he was going too.

My opinion, for what it`s worth, which is not alot, i think some lower league premier team, may just take a punt on him at the last minute, and he`ll end up there.

Possibly even West Ham, once they`ve got the money for selling Parker.

I think we as a club, have spent too much time chasing Maynard anyway, and should have moved on a long while ago.

Even us going for Shane Long seemed to be an afterthought, after getting no where with Maynard.

One thing is for sure though, we must be pretty confident of getting a striker in, or else we wouldn`t be letting waghorn and Howard go.

Yeah, its a really good 1. Alot of our fans would take it, cause they feel it could be spent on other areas (defence). Really dont think we would sell to a championship team, but we maybe forced to if he doesnt sign a new contract before january and a theres no prem interest by then.

Like i said, hopefully he will sign a new contract with a prem release clause.
