Never a good day when an extremely wise man leaves the world.

RIP.

Having seen some of the photos of him recently it was something that seemed to be creeping up on the horizon but its still shocking.

I had to read Insanely Great: The Life and Times of Macintosh, the Computer That Changed Everything for uni and it pretty much sums up what a talent he was and how he's really shaped our lives.

He will be missed.

Apple fanboy or not, Jobs made a huge impact on the computer, phone and tablet market.

Innovation personified - "we were pretty reckless in stealing other people's ideas".cool.gif

Sad to see him go so early, had another ten to twenty years full of ideas in him.

Bloody cancer.

It just goes to show that even if you are collosally rich enough to buy the best medical care there is, when your number is on the ticket, it's time to go.

A sad loss.

Whether you like apple or not, there is no doubt whatsoever that Jobs was a pioneer in his industry and what huge impact he had on the gadgets we use today.

RIP

Sad news. Steve Jobs was a very, very clever person who changed the World in a way. The technology with Apple and the Computer Animation with Pixar will always be here, and will never be forgotten.

RIP.

Agh, I noticed a photo of him taken a few weeks ago and he looked very unwell indeed. A sad injustice that a man so brilliant has his life cut short but many wicked parasites go on to live for what seems hundreds of years.

RIP Steve Jobs

This story flies over my head a bit.

I mean, it's tragic to hear of anyone dying so young.

But I did'nt know him, and I did'nt want to scream RIP at the top of my lungs when the person who started Ford or Toyota or Zanussi passed away.

Apple snobbery also really gets on my tits.

That's a rich vein of form and no mistake.

Look at what a nice time we're having. It's what Steve Jobs would have wanted, I reckon

oh yes sorry , it's Steve Job's thread ain't it ?

RIP Steve :(

I guess you crashed too early

I guess its because he came across as the antithesis to business men like Bill Gates.

"Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me ... Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful... that's what matters to me."

He genuinely seemed to want to innovate and gave people products they didnt even know they wanted instead of creating products by commitee and focus groups.

Also no Steve Jobs, no Pixar and Toy Story!
