Happy Fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I think he means everyone. And I think he's correct. He is included then.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Ray on at the mo, NP fan thats clear, seems to think we will turn things around!!! How sensible . . . . . .
jonlcfc1990 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Dyer and Nugent upfront 4 foot **** all HA NP Would love that "HOOF IT TO THEM" "I CANT BOSS THERE TOO SMALL"
MikeyT Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Probably both, either way he is correct. Agreed I think he means everyone. And I think he's correct. I concur.
leicesterisme Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Why do people say this? If players in their actual position play well people want to move them around in another position thinking they will still play as well in that position. Leave Peltier at right back where he is a good player not move him to centre midfield because our current midfield crop isn't up to it, then leaving us with a lesser player at right back.
Mack Posted 16 January 2012 Author Posted 16 January 2012 Dont Panic! Move the Kop near the away end and all will be well.
Gold Coast Fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I missed it Was there anything of interest mentioned? or just a bunch a rambling about the atmosphere again.
1964FOX Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Dont Panic! Move the Kop near the away end and all will be well. That's him off Kev's Christmas card list

absolutelegend Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Do they replay the moan in anywhere online? i missed it and i enjoy listening to it, although prob not for the right reasons
Legend_in_blue Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Probably both, either way he is correct. Agreed I concur. I also agree. What's worrying though is that "delusions of grandeur" have clearly got to some of the fans and they're quite insulted by it. I can't see where they're coming from.
broughtonblue Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Do they replay the moan in anywhere online? i missed it and i enjoy listening to it, although prob not for the right reasons Can download it off iTunes from wed pm, search 'football forum'
Mack Posted 16 January 2012 Author Posted 16 January 2012 Go to BBC Leicester's site, look for the schedule then find the show and click listen again. I'm not sure how soon it is up.
HoustonFox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 Can download it off iTunes from wed pm, search 'football forum' That's what I do. I listen to it at 6pm as well so it feels real... I love the way it just ends as well.
earle the winger Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I love the way these people who have supposedly been going down for many years yet always think this is the worst team theyve seen .Yet i remember many wasted seasons supporting lcfc and i dare say many more will come in the future.I think they have delusions of grandeur!
Babylon Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 It's the worst team since we lost 3-0 to Millwall and 2-1 to Brizzle. So it's errrr, the same team.
Corky Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 In terms of money spent and hype around it all, it is the worst. Other sides have been poorer, but they had the excuse of little resources.

Rusko187 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 You people make me sick... On another note what did I miss tonight? Any Matt Mills bashing?
leicesterisme Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 You people make me sick... On another note what did I miss tonight? Any Matt Mills bashing? Only caught a little bit of the programme but I did hear a caller label him as Akinbyi esque.
eaststandtom Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I think Pearson saying some people have 'delusions of grandeur' can be answered by the following question, regardless of the money spent, what do we seriously expect of the current batch of players? Lets be honest they are not up to it. I think we have a good bunch of individual players but they are too inconsistent and do not fit with each other. Gallagher for example fits this bill. What is his position? Why can he not perform for even 2,3 games on the trot. Wellens I am afraid is past his best and as a result Andy King is suffering. granted he isnt helping himself but he needs players around to allow him to ghost into the oppositions penalty box but he doesn't have that support anymore. The irony is these 3 examples were Pearsons signings however, this is a different set of circumstances to those of a vibrant tem which had just achieved promotion. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then. Where as the of the new signings who has performed well. Nugent, possibly but even he has dipped in form and in body language too. Danns I feel sorry for. He is a central midfielder and should be played as one and not alternating with another unnatural right sided player in Gallagher but he isn't thus his form has suffered and he hasn't reached the form he achieved at Palace. Beckford? Well he needs service from two natural flank players and a strike partner to compliment him. I think it would be wrong to just assume that this would be Nugent. Also, support from King would be an advantage but, as explained, King cant play his natural role because he doesn't have a player to compliment him. So, the problems persist. Matt Mills, horrendous body language.

In terms of how the squad has been complied, I am not even going to go there.
Fox92 Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 On another note what did I miss tonight? Any Matt Mills bashing? You know, the normal. Every player being slated, owners should sack Nigel after what he said post match against Barnsley etc. You didn't miss much again.
MC Prussian Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 I love the way these people who have supposedly been going down for many years yet always think this is the worst team theyve seen .Yet i remember many wasted seasons supporting lcfc and i dare say many more will come in the future.I think they have delusions of grandeur! Well, given the circumstances and the more or less constant inconsistencies, I can see why some people call it "the worst team they've ever seen". It's a rather fair assessment.
