Lineker's Left Foot Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Just heard on radio that William hill have taken a one hundred thousand pound bet on MON to be back at city. They have now ceased taken bets on him. Still really can't see it - some loaded goof has lost £100,000 tonight IMO.

Babylon Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Sven pulled up to the bookies on Narborough road after he left the stadium.
One Arm Babba Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 that looks like £100 with 3 decimal places after it??? surely not that much to close the betting down???
Jace Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 shit I meant to put on £100.00 but my laptop froze due to Foxestalk
Jay Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 William Hill still taking bets online, however the odds are 1/2 that's pretty much a dead cert in betting terms. still can't see it happening though
accessory Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Who put the bet on? Top. Probably Steve Claridge..
Guest Bilo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 BETTING SLIP £100,000 to winMartin O'Neill to be next Leicester City manager EVENSAccount Holder: Mr A. Raksriaksorn
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 24 October 2011 Author Posted 24 October 2011 I have also stated in another thread tonight that my football insider contact knows that the owners have spoken to MON on 3 seperate occasions in the past 5 weeks. Fingers crossed for me.
Webbo Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I can't believe that any bookie would take that kind of money on a bet like that.
Number 6 Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 William Hill still taking bets online, however the odds are 1/2 that's pretty much a dead cert in betting terms. still can't see it happening though There is NEVER a dead cert in a manager's market. Just look back at the betting on the Villa manager at the beginning of the season.

Jimmy Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 Martin O'Neill and his side are the reason I'm a Leicester fan, I would absolutely love him back
THEFATBASTARD Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 It was me, and it wsn't pounds ££££ but rupeees, my bookie in Punjab, Williamdeep Singh Hill took the bet for 100,000's Thank god, the fix is in then...
cc_star Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 £100 is very different from £100,000 and kind of changes the point of the thread from wow, to pointless.
FosseFox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I'd be really suprised if Sir Martin took over. He doesn't seem the type to withstand interfering owners and ours are certainly getting that reputation.
Soar Fox Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 I'd be really suprised if Sir Martin took over. He doesn't seem the type to withstand interfering owners and ours are certainly getting that reputation. Why are they getting the reputation as interfering?
Guest MattP Posted 24 October 2011 Posted 24 October 2011 No bookie in the world would take a ten grand bet on a management market let alone a hundred grand one.
