Daggers Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Don't blame them in the slightest for feeling pissed off - poaching managers during the season should be banned, it's a disgusting practice lacking respect and demonstrates piss-poor club ownership. Doesn't everyone here remember how pissed off we all were when Megson was poac... Scrub that.
danfox76 Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Hull fans need to realise Pearson was always our manager.. he just had an 18 month loan spell with them! hehe welcome home Pearson
davieG Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 I love how the media football pundits think they are on a par with God and Revelations by saying the move is all about money as if 99% of all football moves are about anything but money.
AyewJoking Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 To be fair surley we'll sack him at the end of this season rather than wait til Christmas 2012 and realise we're still in the Championship and sack him then.
Head Honcho Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Half of them seem too far up their own arse. Acting all big cause "little" Leicester took their manager Hull is, and will always be, a shit-hole. Compared to Leicester, it's a dog house. ...I'm still going Hull away though I suppose irony is something your mummy does to your shirtys?
Webbo Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 To be fair surley we'll sack him at the end of this season rather than wait til Christmas 2012 and realise we're still in the Championship and sack him then. Tbf to the owners they didn't sack Sven at the end of last season. It's an expensive business sacking a manager, I don't suppose they do it lightly.
Yojoe36 Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 I suppose irony something your mummy does to your shirtys? And I'm damn proud of it
surrifox Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 you do know that whoever Hull appoint as new manager will take them into the play-offs just edging us into 7th place on goal difference

Kitchandro Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 you do know that whoever Hull appoint as new manager will take them into the play-offs just edging us into 7th place on goal difference Or we lose to them in the final, with a Fryatt goal, as somebody in their forum said. It's inevitable isn't it? <_<
somebum Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 It alludes to how Hull can even be mentioned in the same sentence as us, a brief mediocre stint in the PL means **** all, and some people are so naive, not even some of our fans realise how powerful we are as a club. To sack a manager of Svens stature at this level is unheard of. We would have always been a massive part in his career, essentially we are his success story, now he has a chance at his dream job, Leicester city with money. wow this post has delusion written all over it. Fair enough our owners are prepared to invest a couple of quid which is a mere drop in the ocean in today's world, it doesn't mean we are a 'powerful club' by any stretch of the imagination. Our stint in the Premier League can also be classed as 'brief' and 'mediocre' at best so lets not start believing our own press and thinking we are better than we are because right now we are below Hull in the league, a million light years away from gaining any consistency needed for a promotion push, regardless of how 'powerful we are as a club'.
Father Ted Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 'Going back to Leicester is a sideways probably even backwards move' 'Would love Nick Barmby as manager' 'The only reason he's going back is for the cold, hard cash' No, because Hull is the biggest shithole in England, boring club, he loves Leicester more, his family liked it here, he still gets on with everybody, the person who shafted him first time is no longer here... Cash may be a factor but that just contradicts the backwards move idea....

Hull have spent 2 seasons in the top flight in their entire history though, so I can see what he means in that respect.

Hull 2 years in the Premiership, were in League 2 in 1998 (I know because I always played as them on Premier Manager 98) and low attendances. Us, 2 league cup wins and another final loss. 2 appearances in Europe. Several top 10 finishes. Yes, we are very mediocre compared to Hull...
Saxondale Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Hull 2 years in the Premiership, were in League 2 in 1998 (I know because I always played as them on Premier Manager 98) Why?!
Corky Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 We've spent plenty of years in the top flight, only one outside the top two divisions, qualified for Europe three times and been to nine cup finals. Much smaller club.
Salieri Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 This 'my club is bigger than your club' and 'your city is a shithole' etc is as predictable as it is boring. We can never take the moral high ground over any other clubs set of fans as ours are just as bad. I don't actually blame them for being pissed off, fuck knows what it'd be like on here if the roles were reversed. I wish we could show a bit of class and rise above it.
Bryn Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 I wish you'd all stop slagging the place off, you set of cu.nts

I liked the response to your sig that said: "I bet they charge you a booking fee."
SeCrEt FoX Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 Grayson favourite Well one of the favourites
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 November 2011 Posted 8 November 2011 When he went there I told them that he didn't really want to leave and was forced because of the relationship breakdowns. They on the other hand were quite sure they had poached him from us because they were a much bigger and better club, with greater prospects and much nicer places to live. When I see the pictures of him back here (should it happen). I am going to take great please in finding those comments and shoving them right down their throats. They have a street called Land of Green Ginger though. Land of Green Ginger We can't get anywhere near that, even if we use Every Street in Leicester <sic>.
