As Bale scored, then Cech should have been given a yellow card for the foul on Adebayour. If that had been his second yellow, then he would have been sent off.

It would have taken a pretty eagle-eyed official to notice it, but Assou-Ekotto is off the pitch, Modric and Walker are standing about a yard out, and part of Terry's body with which he can play the ball is on the pitch (indeed he used it to knock it towards the line) when Mata took his shot.

He said all the way up there on the tube, Chelsea fans were singing "Murderers" or "You murdered your own fans". Absolutely appalling and he said he was embarrassed to support Chelsea that day despite the result.
