Blackpool home pre-match interchange

I'd probably go for the same team, it's a fairly strong side but not as good as it probably can be, it should be capable of getting something against these.

I hope we go for it, Blackpool always go for it and they're a real entertaining side as a result, I think the next two home games have huge potential for football reasons.

Leicester 3-2 Blackpool; We take the lead three times, goals from King, Gallagher and Nugent.

The team above but with either Schlupp, Howard or Mrs Miggins the tea lady instead of Beckford . . . . .

Of all the upcoming matches this is a tough call, it really depends on the night and how Hollowhead plays it, he's already beaten a Pearson team away this season and Blackpool are probably the most unpredictable team in the Championship! :dunno:

I am inclined to start Danns instead of Dyer on the wing, leave out Howard and put on Schlupp on the bench the rest of the team will keep their places.

A tough test no doubt, but it's a chance to get some points back on a realistic rival for promotion. I didn't think Blackpool would start quite as well as they have done but suffice to say they've looked pretty sharp so far this season.

Regardless, we've got plenty to beat anybody at this level. Home form against the better sides in the division has generally been pretty decent, so I'm hopeful. If we can get the front men firing as they have been recently I don't see why we can't make a good impression of this. Christ, we could even be in the play-off places briefly if this all goes to plan. I don't dare get my hopes up for that though, the amount of times we've choked at the prospect of a top six place in the last two seasons is ridiculous.

This and put Bamba back in for SSL maybe change Wellens for Fernandes.

Wellens was easily our best player against Pompey. Kasper made 2 cracking saves but its sort of expected now and he had little else to do

Bamba definitely in and Danns to come on earlier and again try our plan b of 4-2-3-1 with Nuge on left, worked well for last 15 mins v Pompey

No Bamba, no win.

it's up to DOG.

My forecast- NO WIN.

You said if Pearson was appointed, you'd **** off until he was sacked. Follow through with your promises man!

After yesterday and going all that way, I would actually bring Bamba and Danns into the team.

Bamba has been in my view our best player this season, yes he is a risky type of defender but whatever he does 99% of the time it pays off.

And not a big fan of Danns but when he came on yesterday, he looked very very good better than Gallagher and Dyer in my opinion.

GK - Schmeichel

RB - Peltier

CB - Bamba

CB - Mills

LB - Konchesky

RM - Gallagher

CM - King

CM - Wellens

LM - Danns

ST - Beckford

ST - Nugent

Subs - Weale, St Ledger, Abe, Dyer, Howard

Yes Bamba deserves his place back in the side. Hard on SSL, who has also performed well. The back 4 and the keeper is not the problem as we well know. The front 2 i believe can do it. The midfield is where we need something. Don't ask me! But the idea that Danns is better than Dyer is just typical of us. Three weeks ago the debate went the other way. I don't know. Everyone says we need a player with pace, a creative midfielder, someone who will take players on. Great so we are not asking for much then. Every team in the country is asking for a player like that.
