SSN claimed the release clause was 1.85mill Just after we had been told we had bid 3mill. Then they turned down an undisclosed bid from us.

He said he wants to play in the premier league... so in other words a champ team with the chance of hanging around in the premier league once promoted or a prem team not likely to get relegated....

Personally I don't want he is a carbon copy of Nugent what we really need is wingers and a playmaker, then a target man striker as a replacement for Howard. Futacs from Pompey may be worth a go.
