DanTheFox07 Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 I don't think he will come, and In all honesty I'm not too bothered! Yes he is a cracking Championship player, but is he any better than Nugent? and if we bring in a winger won't that cause further complications? Think we should be bothered, need another striker! yes we need a winger more, but we need to look at more striker`s before deciding if sharp is worth pursuing!
DarkTranquillity Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Accoring to the Sky Sports website, Fulham are set to bid £3.5m
bluearmyfox23 Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Zamora anyone apparently he wants first team football and is willing to move to the championship, I know it's a long shot but surely worth a cheeky bid?

Yes he is a cracking Championship player, but is he any better than Nugent? and if we bring in a winger won't that cause further complications? He's more of a goalscorer than Nugent from what I've seen (can't knock Nuge for effort but he's been poor under Pearson) and thats what we're after. I'd happily swap Nugent for Sharp.
GianEmmo Zola Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Zamora anyone apparently he wants first team football and is willing to move to the championship, I know it's a long shot but surely worth a cheeky bid? Would be a good signing! Then we can sing ' when the ball hits your head and your sat in row z, thats zamora! '
Happy Fox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Supposedly Dull thinks he is on his way their HCAFCfansite Hull City Fansite Just been told, Donny have accepted a £2.2mill bid for Billy Sharp from #HCAFC
bluearmyfox23 Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 I've heard that hull have had an offer accepted to !!
ithuriel Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 He might go to Hull, read he does not want to move too far but would be surprised if Donny accepted £2.2million since there is definite attention being shown by a number of club's. Unless all the ITKs we're wrong and £2.2million was the clause release figure
wolfgang amadeus Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Would 100% take Bobby Zamora, where has it said he would drop to the Championship though? Think he'd terrify defences in this league, played for England recently.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Would love Zamora too, but he played for Fulham yesterday and pretty well to boot.
wolfgang amadeus Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Yeah theres no chance of us getting him, would be plenty of teams looking to take him on if he leaves Fulham which I doubt he will this window.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 He is suppose to leave, west ham are favourites to sign him would post a link but I'm on my phone !!
EnderbyFox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Don't know if this has already been posted but ; http://m.yorkshirepo...sharp_1_4108402 DONCASTER Rovers have rejected a £2m offer from Championship rivals Leicester City for striker Billy Sharp. The move signals the start of a New Year bidding war for Sharp, who will be allowed to speak to any club willing to pay £3m for his services. Southampton, Wigan, West Bromwich and Stoke are also weighing up bids for the 25-year-old who has bagged 10 goals in 17 appearances so far this season. Manager Dean Saunders said: “If I am honest, I don’t expect him to stay but I hope he does for obvious reasons. “We have had a bid which has not been accepted but I think we are going to get a few bids.”
MikeyT Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Why have we bid 2 million when we know he can't leave for anything less than 3 million?
m00nie Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Zamora anyone apparently he wants first team football and is willing to move to the championship, I know it's a long shot but surely worth a cheeky bid? the same zamora that scored the winning goal against arsenal in the prem last night.. cant see him dropping down, and especially not to us..
luke rowbottom Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Zamora would never come to us, he has a good career at Fulham.
Babylon Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Why have we bid 2 million when we know he can't leave for anything less than 3 million? Perhaps because sky said it was £1.85m.
m00nie Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 and how can they reject it... somethings wrong somewhere..
kingfox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Why have we bid 2 million when we know he can't leave for anything less than 3 million? Exactly we did the same with other players in the summer. If they want 3 million they want 3 million, so bid 3 flaming million or leave it. Idiots.
dave_the_fox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Exactly we did the same with other players in the summer. If they want 3 million they want 3 million, so bid 3 flaming million or leave it. Idiots. Good idea why negotiate!? Just give them want they want! That's how I buy cars and the like!
Raw Dykes Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Why have we bid 2 million when we know he can't leave for anything less than 3 million? He can leave for less than that. If he has a minimum release fee clause of £3m, that just means the club have to accept bids of £3m or more. The club can decide whether they want to accept bids that are lower than that. Why should we bid £3m, when they might have accepted 2?
dannythefox Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Zamora will NOT come to us some people need to get real!
Kitchandro Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Zamora will NOT come to us some people need to get real! This

Salieri Posted 3 January 2012 Posted 3 January 2012 Good idea why negotiate!? Just give them want they want! That's how I buy cars and the like! They aren't desperate for the money and don't want him to leave, without his goals they will most probably be in trouble. There seem to be a few clubs interested and at least one of them will meet the release clause so they will sit tight until that happens.
