GLC Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Well Paul Scholes has come out of retirement to play for Man Utd again, If you could chose one player from the past to come back and play for us again...who would it be? Mine would be Muzzy Izzet, his passion and creativity are what we're currently missing in midfield atm.
cc_star Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Creative flair players are nothing without a tough tackler, so yes love Muzzy, Parker too but I'm going to say Lennon Could do with a leader, so Walsh + he'd score more than our forwards
iamafox Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 I'd say Muzzy Izzet as well, he was my favourite player growing up.
Saxondale Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Maybe Izzet for the reasons you've stated, or Lennon, but probably Walshy - for fighting spirit. Or maybe Stanley Victor Collymore, just for fun.
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Lennon.... What a player he would be for this team now... Breaks up opposition attacks and lays it off.. Over and over again..
ithuriel Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Garry Parker knew how to spray balls around, could score goals and took nice set pieces so on the basis of a all round playmaker i'd say Parker.
Kitchandro Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 We really could do with Muzzy back right about now
TheAtkin'fenwa96 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 The Birch - he's got more passion than what some of the players show!
The Doctor Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Junior Lewis to make the current squad look a bit better.
Bryn Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Yeah I think we could use a Lennon more than an Izzet.
Libertine Dream Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Has to be Izzet or Weller. Probably Izzet
tylesta Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 steve guppy, for a few reasons!! listening on the radio or at the game whenever we had a corner i just felt we would score with him taking them. not the fastest of players but could beat a man with ease and his delivery was the best we have ever seen at leicester, would make gallagher look non league.
21st Century Fox Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Roberto Mancini, it'd be nice to have seen him get a few more games and hopefully he could bring a few of his current lot with him
Lambert09 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Les Ferdinand...... at his prime obv......but I would still take him in the form he was for us. Him and Nugent would be excellent together
jprs1976 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 we need a goal poacher so for me it would be Tony Cottee or David Speedie maybe a kevin russell as well
jonlcfc1990 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Garry Parker knew how to spray balls around, could score goals and took nice set pieces so on the basis of a all round playmaker i'd say Parker. The ammount of height we have plus the ammount of set pieces and corners you get in games now we need another Parker! i say it nearly every game now can't beat the best
