He played yesterday but that picture on the OS does him no favours. I can't see Pearson being very patient with him, he'll be off back up north i'd expect.

Our squad is looking bare at the minute.

No sympathy for him at all....nobody wants to see somebody get injured, but its not his injury keeping out the team its his lack of fitness. Most players when suffering bad injuries watch their diets and make sure they do other exercises. Not the case with him and he obviously isnt working hard enough on the training ground, in fact he's getting bigger. Will end up playing league 2 or lower IMO

From what I've seen of him for us he looks like a very average player these days with little drive to change it.

Will probably fall through the leagues and after a few years will end up having to retire from the game through lack of desire and will end up needing a real job to live.

It might be that he has just not turned out to be very good after all the hype; He wouldn't be the first.

i think he'll be off back to man city. My mate who is a Man utd fan has heard we're after Darron Gibson on loan. i dont know how much truth is in it though

had high hopes but not really impressed me, maybe its just had hes had poor media coverage but it just doesnt look like hes that bothered. hopefully thats completely wrong and he will stay and have a great second half of season. But at the moment it looks like moussa is ahead of him judging the forrest subs

Does anyone know anything about loan agreements? How tied are we to a season long loan? Fernandes has gone, but that was to another club and orchestrated by himself/agent.

If Johnson can't be arsed and Man City don't want him back are we stuck with him? I assume we can break the contract, all contracts are breakable, but would we end up being fined by sending him back early?

It does seem like we don't want him here, and he doesn't seem to want to be here, so why is he not back with Man City?

we;ll send him back... he'll make the England team in two years and in an interview will reveal we turned down the opportunity to sign him permanently.

Nigel should take the fat fvcks car off of him and make him run or cycle to work everyday!

We'll send hime back, he'll get flogged to Barnsley or Preston do **** all and end up dropping further.

No Premier League club will want him, not unless they have a food mountain at the training ground they need shot of.

Given the amount of money he is on, you have to wonder whether Pearson likes what he sees on the training ground and is hoping he can get fit enough to have a decent run in the side. Otherwise surely he would have been sent back to Man City by now? Unless a) we cannot contractually terminate the loan or b) Man City are contributing to his wages so it's not actually costing us that much to have him here.

Gibson is going Everton for 2.5 million, this week.

I can remember back in 2008, the was a rumour that MON wanted to bring him to Villa never happened of course.

Knowing our luck Martin O' Neill will take him to Sunderland next season and he will become 1 of the best players in the Premier League

This is probably the most obvious question ever but:

Why haven't we sent this guy back yet?!

The Thais are fattening him up for the end of season banquet. Rub him with sea salt and bake him very, very slowly.. He's a lovely little porker, and they're going to eat the fat little bastard
