Happy Fox Posted 26 January 2012 Author Posted 26 January 2012 nottmtails Paul Taylor Wes's people might have told Sky Sports that he wants to talk to Leicester, but fact is two bids have been rejected. Until a 3rd is made nottmtails Paul Taylor and accepted then there is not a great deal to talk about. Not sure Leicester will make one, either #nffc
Corky Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 He wants to leave home, he wants to leave home, and join Leicester, he wants to leave home.
Mack Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 They are FUNNY. http://www.forestfor...t=30302&page=11 They are right, he is nothing special.
FoxTrott Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 They are right, he is nothing special. It doesn't matter, he's going to be warming our subs bench anyway. He's not going to get in in front of Mills, SSL (unless leaving), Bamba. He will be fourth/third choice at best.
wellyfox Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 They can't stop the talks as he is in the last 6 months of his contract. All they can do is refuse to sell then he sign's in the summer for free. Pre contract jobby If he has asked they will now cave in or he walks on a free. another brizzle
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 He won't be coming here. Thanks Bert, i take it we are not interested anymore?
Cubbyben Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Won't be coming as we have already bid for another defender
terrybuck Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Won't be coming as we have already bid for another defender anthony gerrard?
lcfc1994 Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 i think if we do get another defender it will only be a loan signing
Salieri Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Won't be coming as we have already bid for another defender Who?
Stevosevic Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Any idea who the defender is Bert? With regards to the story in the Mercury tomorrow.
Cubbyben Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 As Stevosevic says Mercury reporting we are after another defender and it isn't Morgan or Mattock (thank god) Can't see Gerrard wanting to miss a Wembley appearance to come here (don't know if it's him or not)

cc_star Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Hmm John Percy has a great record as well... Doesn't mean to say wes is coming to us tho... Yep, he's bang on AFAIK, not long after WM indicated he wanted to speak to us
Happy Fox Posted 26 January 2012 Author Posted 26 January 2012 £1m for Wes Morgan if this isn't accepted then this shouldn't be pursued.
Ric Flair Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 He's on a free in the summer, we're not desperate for centre backs, Forest are in the shit and we're bidding £1 million? Ridiculous. The Thai's are definitely tightening the purse strings.
Ric Flair Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 PS he's yet another player who has never achieved anything in his career like Wellens, but gets the respect for flattering to deceive. No thanks.
Happy Fox Posted 26 January 2012 Author Posted 26 January 2012 http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/Leicester-make-fresh-bid-Morgan/story-15043748-detail/story.html LEICESTER City have made an improved bid for Nottingham Forest defender Wes Morgan. The Foxes have made a third offer of £800k, with add ons that could take the potential fee above the £1m mark. The Reds have not yet made a decision over the bid, but are expected to discuss their options tomorrow.

Leicester_Loyal Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 A million pounds? I think I'd rather not bother.
Happy Fox Posted 26 January 2012 Author Posted 26 January 2012 Actually our offer isn't bad 800K rising to 1m I am guessing if we get promoted or he plays X amount of games Forest get the extra 200K.
