If you get a boner when bamba gets forward you wait till wes does, bamba is off this summer I reckon due to us not getting promoted. St ledger is on the form and wes will have to play to get In the side, does Matt mills need a big man next to him yes, can st ledger play in any position of the back 4 yes. You will never beat wes Morgan.

You will never beat wes Morgan. I was thinking earlier having watched the Ivory Coast game that Bamba will move on soon. Some mug in the PL or top French League will bite and he'll go. I'd rather keep St Ledger than Sol, we'd get £3 million for him.

Plus Peltier can play at centre half and we have George Taft. Come Tuesday when we still havent got any wingers and he moans he couldn't get it all done in time I hope he can handle the vitriol.

The Thai's are definitely tightening the purse strings. Or that Pearson wants to run a squad on a realistic wage structure therefore avoiding disruptions in the changing room between the high and low earners. O'Neill operated the same but gave generous win bonuses. Pearson is a different kind of manager to Sven. Top stated earlier in the season that if we didn't go up this season they would invest again in the summer. They have also stated a number of times that they are here for the long term. Fear breeds fear. The last bits not aimed at you Ric just a general point about the worry thats creeping in because we've not forked out 5 mil for someone yet.

Dan Posted 26 January 2012 Posted 26 January 2012 Marshall for me too should be our priority. I do rate Morgan but like many have said, I don't believe he's needed. I think Mills is our only safe centre half from leaving, SSL is still technically transfer listed.

So what happens in 2/3 weeks when bamba is back tunchev is fit again and ssl hasn't been sold? We have another player getting the hump because they carnt get in the team! It's a very short time proplem. Not werth spending the money!

It's not a short term problem if: a) he doesn't think what we have is good enough (hard to argue it is after this season). b) he doesn't intend on renewing Tunchevs contract at the end of the season OR Palace want Tunchev back and he'd rather have Morgan than Tunch. c) SSL still wants to leave for guaranteed footy. d) the rumours of him wanting rid of Mills and Beckford were true (bates has backed up the Beckford part) Whilst not impossible (never say never) It is massively unlikely come the end of the window and the end of ACON, that we will have Bamba, Morgan, Tunchev, Mills, SSL.

He is way overrated and paying a million for him is just a joke. Probably best to wait and see how someone actually performs over a run of games, rather than basing you dislike on a handful of games.
