Bettsj2 Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 They have an awful chant for him. You'll never beat Wes Morgan You'll never beat Wes Morgan
Boro fox Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Most of their songs tend to be awful. The whole place is just awful
Happy Fox Posted 20 January 2012 Author Posted 20 January 2012 The bid that was rejected was the first bid, £500K, the second we put in today hasn't been rejected.
Kitchandro Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 On EMT they talked about his 'solid displays' whilst showing a clip of him in a game they lost 5-1
dimmerchant Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Can't see too much of a problem with this. He's an absolute unit of a left-footed CB, who seems to be a natural leader. He's done a great job as Forest captain (look how they are without him) and when the going gets tough, I reckon he's one who will stand up and be counted. We seem to lack players who will round the troops up when shit hits the fan, which it has done on too many occasions this season. Wes could be the man.
One Arm Babba Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Sign of the times for the trees. A great signing for under a million quid. I'd liken him to wayne brown, albeit with probably very different political views....

thybluefox Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Wes Morgan hates black people from what I've heard.... Aye he can't walk past a mirror without kicking the shit out of it.
VinceNoir Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Most of their songs tend to be awful. Trees...... Ra, Ra, Ra....... Trees! We love notting gum we do!!! Trees...... Ra, Ra, R...... Trees!!!

They were shocking at the start of the season as well when he was playing. Against us for example.
Tommo82 Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Wes Morgan is not the forest captain and is not a leader. He also wasn't their payer of the season last year, that was Luke chambers.
adam1 Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Trees...... Ra, Ra, Ra....... Trees! We love notting gum we do!!! Trees...... Ra, Ra, R...... Trees!!! Ra ra ra??? This is Nottingham. Not bloody Henley on Thames.
Libertine Dream Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 They were shocking at the start of the season as well when he was playing. Against us for example. That was also a point when they leaked goals for fun, now they leak not quite as many goals but now its understandable as they have 1 fit centre half.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Where would he rank between Mills Bamba Tunch SSL(if he don't go) Taft. I'd say Mills Bamba Tunch Morgan SSL Taft.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Wes Morgan is not the forest captain and is not a leader. He also wasn't their payer of the season last year, that was Luke chambers. Wayne Brown wasnt captain. Wayne Brown wasnt our player of the season. But we didnt know how important he was till he went.
flowwolf Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Wayne Brown wasnt captain. Wayne Brown wasnt our player of the season. But we didnt know how important he was till he went. The same is going to be said about wellens I expect.
J.Lisemore Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/story-14994357-detail/story.html £800,000 should do the trick.
Happy Fox Posted 21 January 2012 Author Posted 21 January 2012 http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/story-14994997-detail/story.html? Same thing from the merc Nottingham Forest have rejected two bids from Leicester City for defender Wes Morgan, and are holding out for £1 million. Forest turned down a bid of £500,000 on Thursday evening and City immediately responded with a second offer of £650,000 yesterday, which was again refused. A compromise offer of £800,000 may be enough to land the 27-year-old, who has spent his entire career at the City Ground.
Callabinho Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 £1 million? Balls to that, rather fork a bit more out for Joel ward!
Happy Fox Posted 21 January 2012 Author Posted 21 January 2012 £1 million? Balls to that, rather fork a bit more out for Joel ward! Did you not read a compromise could be reached at £800,000 which isn't bad and they will more than likely accept.
Vlad the Fox Posted 21 January 2012 Posted 21 January 2012 We should walk away. They're desperate for money and won't let him go for free in the summer. I'm undecided about this one. My opinion is that while good in the air on the ground he is slow, can't pass and turns slower than the titanic. Yet they pretty much love him though some do claim he isn't that great. Is it because he is one of them through and through who plays with a lot of commitment that they overlook his faults. We won't be so forgiving.
Happy Fox Posted 21 January 2012 Author Posted 21 January 2012 Apparently he has rejected a verbal contract from Forest and he wants to come, I think it is safe to say that he is ours now.

I did read, but it will probebly raise to £1 for the add onns, he is worth about £500k in my eyes, no more! Forest won't settle for a minimal fee, their desperate for cash.
