Mack Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 muppet!! i hope no one makes allegations about you in the future with no proof, you then lose your job, your quality of life, poss your family due to financial issues before an investigation is started! oh hold on, i hope they do!!!! But there is loads of video of what he did. I agree Terry had to go. As England captain he has dragged the good character of our nation through the mud enough times. Capello should never have re instated him after the last incident, then this situation would not have arisen. Capello was only here for the money and looked to me like he was after a way out. Now he found one.
Mack Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Has Baldini and all of 'dem Itie's gone? Baldini went to Roma back in the summer.
Raj Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 The FA. £6 million a year in wages. Cappello JTerry's captain...no hes' not.....yes he is....we'll strip it and give it someone else then give it back to him later!! They all deserved each other. No manager at the Euros. The nation that gave you football and who spent millions on a national stadium are a laughing stock around the footballing world> What a ****ing joke. Get REAL footballing men into the FA...not old dinasaurs!
Ric Flair Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 I was heading to Krakow in June mainly for the piss, but now I am going there excited about getting leatehred for 10 days but also the football. History states that nations whose manager has only been in charge a few months leading in to the finals of a tournament don't do very well, but it's also clear that a change in football can bring short term success. Perhaps we'll get lucky? It depends on who comes in. Redknapp is the obvious choice but i've question marks over whether he 'really' wants it or whether he'll be pressured in to it. Stuart Pearce as a man and the knowledge of being in and around the squads of late, plus his experience with all the young players coming through, which let's be honest are our only hope right now is in his favour but he's got massive limitations as a manager. He was a warrior as a player and a great defender, but his teams he's managed have been utterly turgid and inept of any creativity and fluency. I think in the long run our nation would be eaten alive by quality sides. Are there any other viable English candidates? All of them have failed club experience to their names, I can't even think of many. Steve Bruce is about the best of the rest, haha. The likes of Venables can't be seriously considered, but perhaps Roy Hodgson could be? But he was horrendous at Liverpool. I'm excited for what happens, but equally just as scared as we're in shocking nick at the minute.
l444ry Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Quote "They really insulted me and damaged my authority. What really hit me and forced me to take this decision was the fact the much-vaunted Anglo-Saxon sense of justice, as they are the first to claim that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. In Terry's case, they gravely offended me and damaged my authority at the head of the England side, effectively creating a problem for the squad. I have never tolerated certain crossing of lines, so it was easy for me to spot it and take my decision to leave." He did a pretty good job of that himself with his frankly bizarre man-management-style. He's never had that problem before whilst winning league titles with EVERY club he's ever managed Paddy.
General Smuts Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 http://www.football365.com/john-nicholson/7498696/John-Nich Dunno if this has been posted but this guy is bang on. Although he doesn't suggest any alternatives, my thoughts are that Wenger or someone of his ilk is needed to blood the next generation of England youths,
Bugg Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 I don't care that he's not English, I'd love Guus Hiddink.
21st Century Fox Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 http://www.football3...98696/John-Nich Dunno if this has been posted but this guy is bang on. Although he doesn't suggest any alternatives, my thoughts are that Wenger or someone of his ilk is needed to blood the next generation of England youths, The anti-Capello sentiment, like the anti-Sven sentiment before it, is nothing less than vile. His achievements are wiped away in this media frenzy which re-writes history in the same way a totalitarian regime does.Today's arrogant bully, let us not forget, was appointed to instil discipline into a side indulged by Steve McClaren and Sven. It is a bitter irony that Sven was castigated - by those who now accuse Capello of being too cold and aggressive towards the players - for indulging the WAG culture and not showing enough emotion. What is a man to do? These two men took England through five qualifying campaigns and lost just two games. The Englishman in the middle of them lost three in just one. To ignore this fact as an inconvenient truth is an emblem of the stupidity on display here. I concur.
accessory Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 He's never had that problem before whilst winning league titles with EVERY club he's ever managed Paddy. Like Sven, he had shedloads of cash at every major club he's ever managed. Most of those league titles came courtesy of sugar daddy Berlusconi (Milan) or outright corruption (Juventus). The idea he was suddenly no longer able to work with the FA defies belief.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 SunSport Now @SunSportNow Close FA confirm they are closing in on the appointment of a new England manager. #football
Earl Shilton Lee Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 It's going to be bloody Harry Redknapp, isn't it? Nice attacking football against the rubbish, thrashings when we come up against tactically adept coaches of nations with decent players. I'd much rather Hodgson. He's had international success before and has strong knowledge of football beyond these shores. His spell at Liverpool has probably put paid to his chances, mind.
Earl Shilton Lee Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 And just to contradict the tweet by The Sun: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17722087
Happy Fox Posted 15 April 2012 Posted 15 April 2012 It will be Harry Redknapp no question about that his mind isn't on Spurs that is a fact judging by performances ever since the interest became known.
