LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 This didn't shock me at all if i'm honest, FA shouldn't of stripped Terry (even though I think he should of) but that's Capello's decision. I don't think Redknapp will leave though since Spurs are playing quality at the moment, a manager I would love will be Alan Pardew, he has done good for Newcastle and we want an English manager
purpleronnie Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 I can't believe people haven't stated the obvious. Capello to leeds!!!!
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 I want Harry Redknapp above anyone else, but will he leave Spurs after what he has achieved thier and what he could achieve in the future? But I bet that the FA will probably go and pick Rafa Benitez or someone like that.
HEGGSY Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 Webbo For Gaffer! Now he's a mod, he can only go onto bigger and better things
Leicesterpool Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 If redknapp becomes manager that would mean no northern players in the team, he'd only pick londoners, no I'd go for Mourinho if not him then Roy Hodgson.
Guest shearfox Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 The FA had to strip Terry due to the nature of the allegations, they could have even completely and rightly so suspend him from playing until he was cleared. Capello was in the wrong and I'm glad he resigned.
skinnydipper Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 Made for him. He'd make Mike Bassett look like Pep Guardiola. Colin willy puller - England manager. DO IT
ajthefox Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 Doesn't matter who we have in charge, we'll still be sh*t come the Euros. Bring in Dowie, at least then we'll have some comedy value.
EnderbyFox Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 Am I the only one who thinks Roy Hodgson is over rated?
21st Century Fox Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 Capello speaking to the Italian press: "They really insulted me and damaged my authority. What really hit me and forced me to take this decision was the fact the much-vaunted Anglo-Saxon sense of justice, as they are the first to claim that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. In Terry's case, they gravely offended me and damaged my authority at the head of the England side, effectively creating a problem for the squad. I have never tolerated certain crossing of lines, so it was easy for me to spot it and take my decision to leave."
Tielemans63 Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 Am I the only one who thinks Roy Hodgson is over rated? No. I think he's average - not the man to inspire England. Got to be Redknapp. Interesting that Fabio has resigned on the day 'Arry is acquitted
broughtonblue Posted 8 February 2012 Author Posted 8 February 2012 I think the FA were right to strip Terry of the captaincy. I know that nothing had been proven, but what would the FA have looked like if the charges were proved, and they had backed Terry. Also, kicking out racism in the game is one of the FA's top priorties (maybe if it was football we would be in a better position), so I think they were right. muppet!! i hope no one makes allegations about you in the future with no proof, you then lose your job, your quality of life, poss your family due to financial issues before an investigation is started! oh hold on, i hope they do!!!!

He did a pretty good job of that himself with his frankly bizarre man-management-style.
Jimmy Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 and the fact that half the squad didn't want JT (who tried to insight a player revolt in the World Cup remember) around let alone captain
Phube Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 Just made a point on BBC news. In his time as England manager he has been paid £24 Million!
Jon the Hat Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 and the fact that half the squad didn't want JT (who tried to insight a player revolt in the World Cup remember) around let alone captain Hopefully that is the last we see of Terry in an England shirt. Scum.
21st Century Fox Posted 8 February 2012 Posted 8 February 2012 On a separate note I hope Capello goes back to Serie A and doesn't take the money in Russia. I could see him doing good things at Inter possibly.
