GingerrrFox Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Away from home against a Premiership team in the cup go 4-3-3 and try and sneak a goal or get a draw and bring it back to the KP Kasper SSL Mills Morgan Konchesky Danns Bamba Wellens Marshall Nugent Beckford
Corky Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 They'll have too much for us. It will be close though.
Guest Col city fan Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 They'll have too much for us. It will be close though. Can I ask you why you think this will be close Corky? They are flying high in the Prem... Will see themselves as actually having an outside chance of winning the Cup and are at home. We, on the other hand, have not yet won two consecutive league matches all season. You could be right and I hope you are... I don't want to make the 250 mile round trip to see us shafted. But why do you realistically give us much chance?

We'll be up for it, nothing to lose as it were, and we'll make a fight of it. We went there last year in atrocious form and nearly got a point, so I can't see it being a 5-0 or something like that (well I hope it isn't).
Cropwellfox Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 How things can change so, so quickly. Only 2 and a half years since we were beating Swansea at home on the crest of a wave and Norwich were losing 7-1 at home in League One. Would give anything for a result on Saturday, and am surprised that Norwich's odds are as long as 10/11...My selection would be: Kasper SSL Bamba Morgan Konchesky Marshall Wellens Moussa Kennedy Beckford Nugent Subs: Logan, Peltier, Mills, Dyer, Gallagher, Danns, Fonz
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 I 4-1 would hate to be a Leicester City fan after this
Tom17LCFC Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Can honestly see us sneaking something. It'd just be so typical of us. If we play how we did between Watfords first 2 goals last night we've got a chance.
paullambert Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Norwich fan here, just my view on the game. a lot of city fans are worried about saturdays game and i think that you may turn us over...Lambert has already said that his priority is Man utd next sunday and that the 4 players that got a knock on saturday against Swansea wont feature against Leicester, thats not including Whitbread and ayala who both have hamstring strains and missed saturdays game, So it looks like hw will make at least 6 changes to the side that beat swansea, will be amazed if Holt starts and can see him giving Vaughan a runout for only the third time this season, as for the rest of the team its almost impossible to guess what lambert will go for.. Were just hoping it isnt the same reserve team that played against MK Dons in the carling cup and got turned over.. i would take a 1-0 win all day long.. All the best
dannythefox Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Norwich will win 4-1 Pearson to get sacked in the morning!
Leicesterpool Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 if we win it'll be 1-0 if we lose it's going 0-2 Norwich, the team wise I'd gamble playing three upfront with Beckford, Nugent and Gallagher having Marshall and Dyer on the wings, Danns in the centre, and at the back Peilter, Konchesky, St Ledger and Morgan. P.S. Beckford to score

You've got a really great chance of making the last 8. Surely you play your best team. Man utd can wait and frankly your unlikely to get much from them anyway. We won't keep a clean sheet if Holt starts as we're constantly bullied off the ball and can't defend set pieces very well. If your first team plays anything near to its potential you'll win easily. If it is largely reserves then we have a chance but only a slim one.
Kitchandro Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 We're gonna win damn it. Becko is gonna get 5. This!
Donut Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Not bothered about the FA cup This season was about promotion. Any other game is meaningless.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Need change... I'd be happy for Nigel to experiment youth and other players for this game. Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk
LCFC FOX Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 I think we can win this. Then Liverpool next round
dog_4 Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Schmeichel Ledger Mills Morgan Konchesky Marshall Bamba Danns Dyer Beckford Nugent
HoustonFox Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Gallagher will start. I know no one has in the team to start but the guy that counts (NP) will start him. I am very worried we'll get bullied by their big men though, they've been doing it all season and we couldn't even handle Watford minus Marvin Sordell last night. I hope that as it is on TV we'll step it up. Not the main game though so probably not. Danns needs to bustle them off the ball in the middle, Mills and SSL need to be strong at the back and Gally and Lloyd need to help out the defence. I really see us letting in some sloppy goals on Saturday. UTF
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Anyway my Team: Kasper SSL Bamba Morgan Konchesky Danns Marshall (RW) Kennedy (LW) Gallagher Nugent Beckford

All the best I can't see why he'd do that- it's a wonderful chance to reach the final. One league game won't harm your season too much.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Schmeichel Ledger Mills Morgan Konchesky Marshall Bamba Danns Dyer Beckford Nugent BEEN SAYING THIS FOR WEEKS!
HEGGSY Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 BEEN SAYING THIS FOR WEEKS! I have my doubts about Bamba in Midfield
Simmo86 Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Lose 3-0 Start well, concede a sloppy goal all downhill from there. Season over Roll on August Around Feb time next year....can't wait for August an on and on and on and on...........
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 I have my doubts about Bamba in Midfield his positioning is cb/cdm
Kitchandro Posted 15 February 2012 Posted 15 February 2012 Not bothered about the FA cup This season was about promotion. Any other game is meaningless. I disagree, if we pull off 2 miracle upsets and reach Wembley it will mean a lot. A lot better than nothing.
