AjcW Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Wheyyyy gerrard going is better than a goal! Sturridge on two minutes nearly creates a goal!
Out Foxed Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Can't satisfy some, we are playing a Dutch side that is only missing two from the WC Final, while we are bringing hrough some new players. Just seen another good chance... yeah...by sturridge.
Ozwin Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Gerrard was definitely slowing us down, it's like everything has to go through him so he can try his stupid Hollywood balls.

Kitchandro Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 When did I ever mention Terry was the best defender in the world hes past it now... Rooney best player in the world ? no.. I think that would be Messi. Lampard no hes good but theirs a lot better out their He can clearly pass a ball or he wouldn't be playing football at the highest standard obviously you must be more aware of this than Wenger, Murinho and other top managers...oh wait this is just sheepish talk. Your probably not even from this country. donk People who think those players are world class are the same morons who say Cole is, that's my point. Mourinho bought plenty of players who couldn't pass. Chelsea have paid for that since he left, Mata and Lampard aside, they have a squad full of quick, hard man midfielders who have little technical skill. Players like Essien, Mikel, etc. Cole hasn't been any good for a few years now. And I am from this country but I don't see how that's relevant. Can foreigners not have an opinion? Would a Spaniard who has watched England play numerous times not be allowed an opinion even though his country pisses all over ours at football? Anyway, I thought there wasn't any point arguing with me?
Kitchandro Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Can somone shoot that f###ing band, its that anoying i have to watch with the sound down. Yeh it's annoying. The atmosphere at Wembley is terrible compared to the old days, and it's poor compared to other venues when big footballing nations are playing at home. I was watching Germany play a friendly a while ago and their atmosphere sounded amazing. I think I may have a go at designing the next England kit. I'll get a plain white shirt, stick the 3 lions on it and paint the numbers and names in blue instead of red. Then I'll sell it for £45.

USA winning in Italy.
BlueSi13 Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 We're fvcking shit Not at all, not a chance the Dutch deserve to be 2-0 here, been a pretty even game up to that point. Though i am constantly amazed how a country the size of Yorkshire can produce such quality year in year out.

purpleronnie Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 It'll be the managers fault again no doubt.
BlueSi13 Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Because dare I say it......grassroots. We can all agree with that until we are blue in the face. Though it has to be said our youth teams have been performing very well for the past 5 years thanks to implementing a more continental style of youth development. Only time will tell whether it pays off in the coming generations. For now though we will have to grit our teeth and expect us to carry on in the same vein for which we've done for the past 30 years.

BlueSi13 Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 so in other words we should get used to failure. I don't think we're in a position to expect anything more that punching away at 6-10th place in the world right now sadly.
