Corky Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 You being serious? Serious enough to start a thread about how tinpot we are.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Yes, the Thai's have turned the ground into a non-hostile place haven't they? Well they kind of have because they have introduced this shit idea
Babylon Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 You being serious? Having read his other posts I fear he is.
Babylon Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Well they kind of have because they have introduced this shit idea Oh Danny boy.... Someone post a triple face palm please.
Corky Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Well they kind of have because they have introduced this shit idea So it was hostile before they came then?
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 No I'm saying with these kind of ideas like mixed fan zones then it is making it pathetic. I'm for one not getting a season ticket next season
Daggers Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Having read his other posts I fear he is. It's in the name. DannyBoy11 used to post bollocks but then he got all growed up and became a moderator. Although I wonder is 95 is Danny the Fox 95's reall age, in which case it's only going to roll downhill fast until senility helps him forget where he left the computer.
Fox92 Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 This is how it should be at times, especially against teams like Doncaster Rovers. I understand massive rivalries like Birmingham v Villa, West Brom v Wolves, Arsenal v Spurs etc and it wil never happen in those games, but when there is nothing between I'm up for the idea. I know they did it at The City Ground and there was no trouble. I suppose there will always be some people trying to cause something though, but if we give it a try what can go wrong?
unreachable Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Seems a good idea since away fans who are parents can sit down with their children and not be threatened by the "I must stand up or football is unwatchable" brigade.
AKCJ Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Are you sure some nutter can't just get one? Not sure i'd want to be sat next to some 7 foot pisshead when i'm drinking my bovril on saturday.
ScouseFox Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Are you sure some nutter can't just get one? Not sure i'd want to be sat next to some 7 foot pisshead when i'm drinking my bovril on saturday. In all fairness, said "nutter" could just as easily buy a ticket in any part of our ground. Doncaster fans could stand in L and K if they wanted to cause trouble. Nobody (hopefully) is stupid enough to try and cause trouble in what has been repeatedly called a "family area". My thoughts on this is it's a bit pointless, can't really understand it but I doubt anyone will even notice 248 family people sat in the middle of the family stand.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 we're the new watford. just when i thought we couldnt sink any deeper, you go and compare us with Watford
Guest Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Couple of points... 1) The corporate areas already allow mixed fans. 2) The club is spending money on making the family stand more accessible to families; allowing entry to the Megastore during the game, for example. I know some of you can't see it, but there are families out there who don't want to stand and sing, especially those with young kids. The ticket offer on Saturday applies only to families, so surely it would be better for the rest of us if the families congregated in their face-painted, sanitised little part of the ground, whilst the rest of us get on with supporting our teams without having a disgruntled parent giving us the evils for daring to say a naughty word? Thanks for linking the blog, davieG; I didn't know you were a fan!

Thanks for linking the blog, davieG; I didn't know you were a fan! Not just families. I don't like to stand and sing. It just isn't my way. I don't have any problem with people watching them game in any way they like and I do get a little annoyed by prats behind me singing about how I (and others, of course) am not a real fan because I don't show my support in the same way that they do.
Guest Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 I didn't know about it until Daggers posted a link. Just seen.
dannythefox Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 I'm passed caring about stuff like this Leicester always do things backwards! The club is a joke.

Precisely. That's a different argument though, but I agree with the point you're making. I assume you don't want to buy a new shirt when there's a stoppage for some treatment
Guest Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 I don't get it. Some of you don't want families at the game, but the club tries to keep families together in one area, and you're against it? If you don't want something like this happening, then get your arses into the Family Stand so there's nowhere to put the opposition fans. It's not as if the club is getting rid of segregation full stop. They're just giving the lowest risk group another option.
