So maybe Peltier?? Now what that suggests to me is a swap+cash for Jordan Rhodes. Hence the big surprise/shock, and Toffee-fox suggesting he would have him at Everton. Then NP will attempt to re-coup the fee from Beckford sale. Just a guess, odds are i am 90% wrong, oh well....

Yeah Toffeefox and Bert take a lot of unnecessary stick, they're good blokes and it seems that they can't post anything, whether it be on here or twitter without everyone having a reaction. If they are on a wind up I don't blame them. Half of you immediately seek to put them down the other half start running around your bedrooms swinging your pants around your head in excitment. The stick they get isn't funny, it comes from those who don't like others knowing what they want to know, but its so cringeworthy reading the comments pleading with them not to go. I don't know which ones worse, I wouldn't blame them if they do have a bigger ego than most.

I look for those ITK's to be informative when they can, generally accurate and above all sincere. The reaction by some is understandable insomuch as people don't like to think someone is taking the piss out of them. Bert and TF's info is better than none. But if they appear to be undermining themselves surely they can expect a negative reaction. I enjoy the info and the cryptic clues, as long as they have a basis in truth. Simple really. I heard a rumour from a well off Liverpool fan about Spearing. Think it's pie in the sky to be honest. Almost as unbelievable as Huddlestone. But you never know.

I know nothing of Toffee Fox nor Bert but if they wish to come across like they are in the know, then let them. They may well be, but I'd rather someone actually tell me who is going to sign for the club and when, than suggest that something 'may happen'. We can all say something 'may happen' and then let everyone scrabble about trying to glean info like kids in a sweetie shop. And I reckon it must be good fun for those providing such 'rumours'. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that both TF and Bert are far more clued up than I am, but I'm happy to sit back and just see what happens in terms of signings. As Bert himself said 'why do people get so wound up by all of this'? Que sera....

On one side of the fence we have a group of posters grateful for info from the Bert's and the Tf/Fo's even if it's something they are unable to disclose just that they are aware that there is potential movement or progression. On the other side of the fence we have the out of the know posters who simply don't like to be messed around and require more concrete speculative rumours with some kind of founded gossip-like substance and get very angry if told there might be some news to look forward to soon but the ITKs are not yet in a position to make it public knowledge or they blow their ability to get any future information themselves. So which group are rational, well balanced posters able to take a thread about speculative rumours in the vein and nature it is intended and which group of posters are short-sighted, impatient, selfish people blindly hell bent on ruining it for everybody else by driving away the ITK's with petty, frustration and jealousy? For those of you in group 2, the question is rhetorical. (No need to respond) N.
