Tielemans63 Posted 29 May 2012 Share Posted 29 May 2012 I really can't pick the champions of next year's league. It's a weird one cuz there's loads of teams that look like they could make the playoffs but definitely not one outstanding team. I don't rate any of the relegated sides that highly. Charlton could possibly do it.

roachmachine Posted 30 May 2012 Share Posted 30 May 2012 Happy fox, i'm really surprised that your the only person to have f****t down in the relegation zone, given their current plight, i thought more people would have done so. If my f****t supporting mates are to be believed, most of their fans think relegation is a certainty this season. happy days.

Barnsley The league is so hard to call, I could do this 10 times and have teams in different places everytime. You can make a case for all teams to finish in different areas of the table, to be fair I could have put the promoted teams higher but I forgot about them and I couldn't be bothered changing it. Gone for a surprise at both ends, to make it interesting. Burnley to spend the money they get for Rodriguez and surprise a few and can see Poyet going Swansea if Rodgers leaves meaning Brighton to struggle. Only put us in top 6 because of blind faith, hard to make a case to finish ahead of some decent teams.

And Burnley could do better this season too. As you say though... Massively wide open.
Monk Posted 30 May 2012 Share Posted 30 May 2012 I think both Blackburn and Birmingham will implode this season but ultimately only one will go down, the other two spots reserved for the doomed Barnsely and Posh. Boro to win the league followed by Bolton, we will win the playoffs.

But in all seriousness, Watford, Palace, Derby and Charlton will be the dark horses of this league and some shockers near the foot if the table as well. You can't predict the obvious, obviously. Jaspa Posted 30 May 2012 Share Posted 30 May 2012 This looks like fun ! Bolton Cardiff Leicester Leeds Ipswich Middlesbrough Derby Sheffield W Palace Wolves Charlton Blackburn Forest Brighton Hull Birmingham Blackpool Burnley Huddersfield Millwall Watford Peterborough Bristol C Barnsley If Bolton keep Coyle & most of their playing staff they should just do it Think the play-off might be shaped a little differently, as a couple of the pack with have to do a Leicester of season past Wolves manager will be gone around January Ollie might leave Blackpool Think Blackburn will suffer for a couple of years Hull are in tatters Forest will improve, but we will still find time to torture them Derby will be themselves Something very fishy has been going on at Birmingham over the past couple of years, suspect a collapse and loss of Hughton We will be flirting with the top, truly wish for more but even this could be wishful thinking :fc:
