hairy Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Dont fancy this one at all. I think Rooney will f#ck it up for us somehow.
AyewJoking Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Dont fancy this one at all. I think Rooney will f#ck it up for us somehow. Get sent off. He must be craving attention having missed the last two games and if he isnt playing well will probably do something stupid.
Guest shearfox Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Get sent off. He must be craving attention having missed the last two games and if he isnt playing well will probably do something stupid. Hopefully Hodgson like Fergie can control him and ensure he doesn't blow it if all isn't going his way tonight.
Tom17LCFC Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Hart; Johnson Terry Lescott Cole; Milner Gerrard Parker Young; Welbeck Rooney; Decent enough team, should be enough to get the job done. Young and Milner need to be much, much better than they were against Sweden though.
Webbo Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Does the fact that France have beaten Ukraine mean that France will qualify whatever combination of results occur?
Simmo86 Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Does the fact that France have beaten Ukraine mean that France will qualify whatever combination of results occur? Think if we win by 2 clear goals we go through
AdamN Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Does the fact that France have beaten Ukraine mean that France will qualify whatever combination of results occur? The fact this question even needs to be asked shows how stupid the set of rules are. I still don't understand it!
Jaspa Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Who would anyone take out of Spain or Italy then ? :fc:
The Doctor Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Think if we win by 2 clear goals we go through If you win or draw you go through, there's no by x number of goals stuff - win and England are on 7 points, draw and you're on 5, only France would then be able to match that either way. One thing I can't work out - if Ukraine & Sweden win - who goes through from England and France?

LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 England really need to win the group imo. Walcott not fully fit then? 3-1 England
Guest ttfn Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 I rate Rooney very highly - for me he is comfortably one of the top 10 players in world football - but his return has been massively overblown by the media. It's setting him, and England, up for a huge fall.
Guest MattP Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Bad feeling about tonight. For some reason think it's got 1-0 Ukraine written all over it.
I am Rod Hull Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Bad feeling about tonight. For some reason think it's got 1-0 Ukraine written all over it. I very rarely bet, but I very nearly had a few £ on a 2-1 Ukraine win.
MooseBreath Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 4-1 England. Rooney hattrick. Will be a dull first half but the introduction of Walcott will liven us up again. The goal we concede will be from a bad mistake by lescot
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney. Have we got any other players that might be useful? When he's good he's great, but when he's bad, he's a liability. He's certainly not the messiah, closer to being a very naughty boy. Having said that. we will win, surely? I have a feeling it will be "despite" Rooney, rather than because of him.
Saxondale Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 The ITV studio panel saying everything possible to jinx this.
Finnegan Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 I can't see you winning despite him but I do think s lot of you are overly critical of your best player. His tantrums get fewer every year and he's had a pretty good season, you don't have anyone else even near his class. Unless they bottle it, Ukraine are going to be massively up for this - you'll need him to perform.
Saxondale Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 Nice gratuitous extreme close-up of a lady's breasts!
Daggers Posted 19 June 2012 Posted 19 June 2012 You don't know the words You don't know the wuuuuuuurds Thick bastard Rooney He don't know the words
