Kitchandro Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 Something big is happening at Forest. Supposed to be announced on Saturday at home to Peterborough. The only thing I can think of is a new Stadium. Well for us it was a friendly against Madrid.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 Wolves have recalled Leigh Griffiths

RedHux Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 They've also told Lee Camp to find a new club as well. RedHux, what's your opinion on this? I'm not too bothered about Lee Camp going. Since we refused Swansea's interest a year or so ago he's been sulking and has been largely bobbins. I do wish however we might have waited to get a replacement in first or at the very least attempted to get a bit of a fee for him. As it is, it looks like we're going to have Darlow in goal on Saturday as we've just recalled him from his loan at Wallsall. As for the ground stuff, most of the rumours are of redeveloping the main stand (long overdue) and any move way from the banks of the trent will not be well received at all.
RedHux Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 He had a good season and a half under the Scottish manager but since then has been decidedly average. Nobody's too sad to see him go.
iamafox Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 I'm guessing that the Wolves-Blackburn game tomorrow will have a negative atmosphere, from both sets of fans.
ADK Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 Abit of a shame we played them both when they were on form.
iamafox Posted 10 January 2013 Posted 10 January 2013 Abit of a shame we played them both when they were on form. Although we should have got something out of those games.
Carl the Llama Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Palace have signed Nimely on loan from Man City - does that mean the overrated Zaha's on his way out?

How will the meatheads in A and B Block react to that? I presume it'll mean reduced away allocations as well, no way will they give away fans the whole of the Bridgeford Lower if the Main Stand is rubble.
EcclesallOwl Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Ross Barkley gone to Leeds on loan Very good player but unfortunately not what we needed at the time he came
BHAFC Braders Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Derby tomorrow for us , not sure what to expect - hopefully we take the morale from the Newcastle game forward , hopefully should FINALLY have Vicente back too.
Babylon Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Forest rumoured to be getting Chris Burke, he's 29 and that's all I know... is he much cop?
Harry - LCFC Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Forest rumoured to be getting Chris Burke, he's 29 and that's all I know... is he much cop? Birmingham raved about him in the 11/12 season because he had the highest number of assists or something like that. Has the highest number of appearances for them this season but hasn't performed any where near as well. Might be good at a Forest team looking towards promotion given how good he was in a Birmingham side that finished 4th. EDIT: 16 assists in the 11/12 season, highest in the Championship. @colintattum Birmingham City reject £300,000 bid for Chris Burke from Nottingham Forest #bcfc

Harry - LCFC Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 300k that's a pathetic bid. Well I don't know how reliable that guy is, 8000 followers is alright I suppose. But yes, I thought 300k was low - he's worth much more than that I'd have thought. £1m seems to be the going rate for all good Championship players now especially with Pearson. Every player he's bought recently seems to have costed £1m.
Fox92 Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Although we should have got something out of those games. I agree. We didn't take our chances at Blackburn, or Wolves. I recall us hitting the post at Wolves, and at Blackburn we were very unlucky - Nugent missed an easy chance, Vardy had a goal ruled out for offiside.
Corky Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Ross Barkley gone to Leeds on loan Very good player but unfortunately not what we needed at the time he came Shame we weren't in for him. We could've offered £140k a week, a five bedroom mansion and a Ferrari.
Out Foxed Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 i wanted us to sign burke a few seasons back. definitely worth a bid.
Kitchandro Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Burke is a good player. Wasted in that shit team. Cardiff had some quality players the year we played them in the play-offs, it strange that they've all gone on to worse things since.
RedHux Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 How will the meatheads in A and B Block react to that? I presume it'll mean reduced away allocations as well, no way will they give away fans the whole of the Bridgeford Lower if the Main Stand is rubble. The away fans now get a small section of the BC lower due to one of the new massive tellies being in the corner nearest A block, but yea I'd imagine if we started knocking bits down then the allocation would be considerably smaller. The Charming gents of A block and the yoofs in B block (A block has an age limit, B block doesn't) will just have to bloody well move. Probably to the BC library where they can do the most arm waving and 'banter' with the away support.
Fox92 Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 Totally forgot Blackburn and Wolves were playing now. Will be interesting to see how Saunders gets on at the Wolves.
