Rocket-Ron Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 First Premiership game I've watched for ages after deciding to pretty much turn off the league and watch more interesting things, took me about 5 mins to remember why I did. of the last 3 games that have been on sky i've seen 1 goal that came 5 mins from time (and very few attempts at goal in the 265 mins the preceded it.
AdamN Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 First Premiership game I've watched for ages after deciding to pretty much turn off the league and watch more interesting things, took me about 5 mins to remember why I did. Because you choose to watch matches like Aston Villa vs Reading?
Kitchandro Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Not sure why Balotelli is being picked tbh.
Jimothy Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Not sure why Balotelli is being picked tbh. He's not really being picked. He started tonight but hasn't played in weeks, so it's not as though he's been this bad for weeks and Mancini is sticking with him, it's more a case of Mancini shaking things up and Mario not taking his chance.
Kitchandro Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 1-0 Oh well. He still doesn't score enough.
Fox92 Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 O'Neill next for the chop? Not looking good for the guy Relegation battle of Sunderland and Newcastle?
ScouseFox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 http://media.lockerd...4e9a48470_large http://media.lockerd...9fef38fc3_large This may be the best thing I've ever seen.

Second best own goal ever surely. Only Chris Brass smashing the ball into his own face and breaking his nose whilst playing for Bury can beat that!
ScouseFox Posted 28 November 2012 Posted 28 November 2012 Mad that Liverpool wore an away kit instead of all red against an all white Spurs yet Newcastle are wearing black and white stripes away to Stoke. Not sure if it's just my shite tv but they look ridiculously similar.
Kitchandro Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Second best own goal ever surely. Only Chris Brass smashing the ball into his own face and breaking his nose whilst playing for Bury can beat that! Challenge accepted... There's also a classic from Franc the Sinc, not for us for once, but against us playing for Chelsea. He tries to back heel i off the line but gets his feet mixed up.

This should go into the Best Own Goals Thread (if one does exist at all), but all these examples, including Sinclair, are no patch on Tony Popovic's sheer technical ability in his own penalty box:

I'll see your Tony Popovic and raise you a Festus Baise.
Kitchandro Posted 29 November 2012 Posted 29 November 2012 Actually forget Chris Brass I've just remembered this one. I'll see your Tony Popovic and raise you a Festus Baise. He looks pretty pleased with himself
Jimothy Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 West Ham 3 Chelsea 1 Good way to endear yourself to the fans Rafa.
marko Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Wet Sham 3 - 1 Chelsea. They'll love Rafa even more after this.
Jimothy Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Torres just missed a sitter as well. Missed one earlier too. Hit the ball straight at the keeper when the keeper was on the deck.
kingfox Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Fat Rafa has had it, Chelsea are gonna finish outside the top four at this rate. Ashley Cole looked pissed, didn't know what he was doing, and Torres should of scored twice wouldn't be surprised if he didn't score for Chelsea again.
marko Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Missed one earlier too. Hit the ball straight at the keeper when the keeper was on the deck. Yeah, saw that too. Literally can't score to save his life at the minute. Abramovich has a pretty poor record in the transfer market - Shevchenko and Torres for a combined £80m.
Kitchandro Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Loads of hate for Rafa and none for Abramovich. Oh yeh that's just because he bought them the Champions League as he's a lifelong Chelsea fan you know. Way to lose your dignity folks.
AKCJ Posted 1 December 2012 Posted 1 December 2012 Torres fluffed two chances, Ashley Cole ****ed up, Rafa lost again... Good start to the day
