Kitchandro Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 Allen's a better player than King, hence why he's playing for Liverpool. He's had a mare for them though. He was quality for Swansea.
purpleronnie Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 I just laughed and turned over when I saw it, can't wait to read what's been said tomorrow though. 'A Serbian being questioned over racist abuse of two Albanian Newcastle fans' - Only in the Premier League, Great Britain 2012. Incredible. Whats incredible about it?
ScouseFox Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 Yeah, comparing King's game to Allen's is harsh, King's scored more goals in his last 40 or so apps than Allen has in his whole career.
Jimothy Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 Difference between King and Allen though is they King can affect the game. He gets forward, pops up with a goal, can slip the decent through ball through. Allen just plays between the D of his defensive box and the centre circle passing the ball sideways. He rarely does anything else and rarely wonders far from the area I mentioned. King has sparks every now and then, Allen doesn't. King will win us more points this season than Allen will for Liverpool. Allen's a better player than King, hence why he's playing for Liverpool. He's had a mare for them though. He was quality for Swansea. Can I just point out I'm not claiming King is better than Allen. Allen is very good a keeping the ball and like you say that's why he player for a Premier League club. King isn't so good and has more failings. I just think King is a more progressive player than Allen and will be more likely to have a effect on the final score of the game. So for me they aren't comparable, because they are totally different players.
sdb Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 W/r Fellaini vs Shawcross: Fair fvcking play to Moyes - came out after the match and didn't even try to pretend his player was in the right. That said, the morons on MOTD were incredibly keen to deplore Marouane's behaviour, completely ignoring the obvious grabbing and shoving from Shawcross which riled him in the first place. Both lads deserve a ban, Marouane obviously deserving a harsher one. Shawcross really didn't do that much wrong. You'd see it in every Prem League game. Fair play to RS for getting on with it! Fellani should've been sent off 3 times and Shawcross moaned not once.
Fox92 Posted 16 December 2012 Posted 16 December 2012 Seen the Everton highlights. The pulling that Shawcross does at every set peice must be frustrating for Fellaini. Fellaini has never come across (to me), as a nasty footballer and frustration probably played a part in the incident. I know pulling goes on every game but when it is so obvious and so much, it does need to stop, but that's where I expect the officials to step in and do something before the pulling leads to an incident like yesterday. Can I just point out I'm not claiming King is better than Allen. Allen is very good a keeping the ball and like you say that's why he player for a Premier League club. Tom17LCFC Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Fellaini banned for only 3 games :xmasblink:
VinceNoir Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Fellaini banned for only 3 games :xmasblink: So I guess we can expect Joey Barton will have a good moan about this later before pretending to be intelligent by talking about Nietzsche.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 So I guess we can expect Joey Barton will have a good moan about this later before pretending to be intelligent by talking about Nietzsche. In a crappy french accent..
Jimothy Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Fellaini banned for only 3 games :xmasblink: If the ref had seen it, it's all he would have been banned for. Barton only got 12 because on top of his red card, he then proceeded to attack several players on his way off the pitch. Add to that hos extremely poor disciplinary record previous to that, it's no shock really. Not sure why Fellaini should get a longer ban just because it's being given out retrospectively.

I think the surprise is because he committed 3 red card offences in the game
Matt Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 I think the surprise is because he committed 3 red card offences in the game 'But it was against Stoke they deserve it, Fair play to Fellani' Gary Neville has just made a great point, yes Stoke are a dirty, horrible team but at the end of the day alot of the time Stoke just get on with things, he just shown a clip of a Stoke player getting absoloutly clattered (Can't remember what Stoke player go tackled, who it was against, e.t.c) the Stoke player just got up and actually shook the oppositions hand. If that happened to a 'big team' player, or even a lower team player who made a meal off it, it would have been being shown for 48+ hours after the game, he didn't though he got up, shook his hand and got on with the game. On a whole Stoke give as good as they get, the difference? They don't make a meal of things, they get on with the game. I didn't even know Crouch had his teeth knocked out till the other day - I'm not sure if there was a big hoohar about it at the time, but I certainly knew nothing about it. (Although i'm not sure if it was an accidental header/his fault - That may have been the case) Yes Shawcross went down after being headbutted but I think most would after being headbutted. I'm not a Stoke fan for one second, I wouldn't even say I like Stoke, but am getting abit pissed of with people jumping on the 'Stoke deserve everything they get' bandwagon, like I said they give as good as they get and if alot of other teams and players followed suit the game would flow alot better, there wouldn't be half as much diving. How many players certainly from the top sides be on the end of that tackle and get up and on with the game? How many players certainly from the top sides and foreign (Oops, being racist there no doubt) players make a meal out of a tackle like that?
Matt Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Podolski! Get the fuck in!!! Reading 0 - 1 Arsenal.
ScouseFox Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 2 Cazorla goals in 2 minutes. 0-3. Game over.
Matt Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Reading 0 - 3 Arsenal. Get in! Too easy! All hail Wenger
Tom17LCFC Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 2 goals in 2 mins for Cazorla. How bad are Reading?!
ScouseFox Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 Cazorla hat trick made it 0-4. But now it's 2-4. Hello...
Tom17LCFC Posted 17 December 2012 Posted 17 December 2012 This has potential to be hilarious. I don't know whether to watch this or the darts now!
