TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Sky Sports sources understand Sheffield Wednesday have had a bid turned down by Nicklas Helenius. Nicklas Helenius: Attracting interest The Danish striker has been linked with a move to England throughout the summer and Leicester City and Hull City have both also been monitoring the situation. Championship new-boys Wednesday have failed in their initial attempt to sign the AAB Aalborg man as they seek firepower for life back in the second tier. The 21-year-old, who stands at 6ft 5in, was last season one of the top scorers in Denmark with 14 goals for AAB. Premier League trio Fulham,West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City have in the past all also been linked with Helenius to give a reflection of his talent. Another Striker? Beckfords Replacement?
Happy Fox Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 We have a target man in Futacs so doubt we need another one could be JB's replacement but I doubt it.

We were probably interested before we signed Futacs. Doubt we'd be after him now.
marty78 Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 I doubt we'll sign anymore forwards even if JB leaves but you never know. 6' 5" -

marty78 Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Yeah I know but two that big? Give the wingers something to aim though
Rusko187 Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Already got our token foreign player, would say this is old news.
dave_the_fox Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Yeah I know but two that big? Give the wingers goalie defenders midfielders something to aim though edited for you, nice and long ball!
Happy Fox Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Sign him up him and Futacs up front opposition defenders will be shitting themselves..
marty78 Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Sign him up him and Futacs up front opposition defenders will be shitting themselves.. Wouldn't you shit yourself if you seen two 6' 5" beasts charging at you?
AKCJ Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 We would have been interested before Futacs and they would have been interested before they signed Proschwitz.
Mark_w Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 Leicester have money, lets tag them on to the end of this story.

kingfox Posted 2 August 2012 Posted 2 August 2012 We have Futacs now, so this won't happen. Only striker we will be getting is another goalscoring forward with pace, and that's only if Beckford leaves.
MPH Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 I would chuffin love to see two 6 ft 5 forwards playing for City...... it would make playing away from home so funny with a couple of nippy wingers aswell....
Jobyfox Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 Isn't Jacob Blyth supposed to be a big lad as well? Maybe this is the answer to our midfield problem? We could go 4-3-3 and miss out the midfield area completely and just launch it. It would be like the Derby play-off final every week!

Babylon Posted 3 August 2012 Posted 3 August 2012 That's how big Futacs is And Taft.... slam those two on the pitch when we're trailing with a few minutes to go.

On one of my FM games at one point Stoke bought Crouch and Zigic and started them together, it was epic and would definitely work in real life.
