Nicklas Helenius: Attracting interest

The Danish striker has been linked with a move to England throughout the summer and Leicester Cityspacer.gif and Hull Cityspacer.gif have both also been monitoring the situation.

Championship new-boys Wednesday have failed in their initial attempt to sign the AAB Aalborg man as they seek firepower for life back in the second tier.

The 21-year-old, who stands at 6ft 5in, was last season one of the top scorers in Denmark with 14 goals for AAB.

Premier League trio Fulham, spacer.gifWest Bromwich Albionspacer.gif and Norwich Cityspacer.gif have in the past all also been linked with Helenius to give a reflection of his talent.

Another Striker? Beckfords Replacement?

We were probably interested before we signed Futacs. Doubt we'd be after him now.

Isn't Jacob Blyth supposed to be a big lad as well? Maybe this is the answer to our midfield problem? We could go 4-3-3 and miss out the midfield area completely and just launch it.

It would be like the Derby play-off final every week!

I would chuffin love to see two 6 ft 5 forwards playing for City...... it would make playing away from home so funny with a couple of nippy wingers aswell.... lol

On one of my FM games at one point Stoke bought Crouch and Zigic and started them together, it was epic and would definitely work in real life.
