MGLCFC Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 Pearson said post match he was taken off only as a precaution as his back felt a bit tight and that he'll be alright..
Carter90 Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 Nothing serious I'm guessing. Just a precaution. Maybe niggled something. I wouldnt worry.
Fox92 Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 Pearson confirmed post-match he went off as a precaution, just tight. Should be ok, hopefully.

glenny_fox Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 I heard he didn't want to go off, then headbutted Pearson because of it.
Adster Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 I heard he didn't want to go off, then headbutted Pearson because of it.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 I heard he didn't want to go off, then headbutted Pearson because of it. then shagged one of the directors wife . . . . .
Jace Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 Pearson took him off because there is a clause in his contract that says we owe Fleetwood Town a £1000 appearance fee every time Vardy completes a match
Mark_w Posted 12 August 2012 Posted 12 August 2012 Pearson just can't manage flair/talented/young/old/inexperienced/experienced/lazy/agressive/egotistical players like Vardy because of his lack of confidence/massive ego/poor media skills. Pick two.
Deucalion Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Anyone notice that after he scored last night, no-one came to celebrate with him and he looked disappointed? I wonder whether there is squabbling over places?
Bert Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Anyone notice that after he scored last night, no-one came to celebrate with him and he looked disappointed? I wonder whether there is squabbling over places? Er not really. Players went over to him and his fist pump was certainly not one of a disappointment. The team spirit looks very good to me this year.
Collymore Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Anyone notice that after he scored last night, no-one came to celebrate with him and he looked disappointed? I wonder whether there is squabbling over places? I thinks it's more to respect Torquay. You're not going to celebrate like you've won the champions league.
Grewks Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 I thinks it's more to respect Torquay. You're not going to celebrate like you've won the champions league. totally true, it was 4-0 and already over. Maybe the other players thought to let vardy have 'time with the fans' after his first goal. May sound stupid to many, but just a thought, its a big step for the lad going from none football so they left him to celebrate his 1st goal as he wished.
Deucalion Posted 15 August 2012 Posted 15 August 2012 Er not really. Players went over to him and his fist pump was certainly not one of a disappointment. The team spirit looks very good to me this year. I hope so.
